My dad is from Hazard, Ky and my mom is from Knoxville, Tn so I have the "southern blood" running through my veins... When I was 5 years old I was diagnosed with SPINAL MININGITOUS.... They didnt expect me to live much longer, I was in a coma for 5 or 6 days and dont remember much... A couple things I do remember is going in for a spinal tap and hearing my mom crying down the hall and I yelled and told her "Mommy please dont cry, I will be better"... Another thing I remember is the doctor sayin I didnt have much longer to live and my grandma washing my face with a wet cloth and anointing me in Jesus name, and dont you know that when my grandma did that I woke up from the coma and was asking for water...I know I was given another chance at life to work with music..It is my passion, I cannot be happy without it...Almost everything I do is revolved around music..I believe God gave me another chance at life to go out into the music world and spread his name and to touch people through the songs and lyrics I sing..If I dont make millions of dollars and sell thousands of cd's or see my name in lights, I am already a winner, I've won a second chance on life, I've won one of the best families anyone can ever imagine, I've won a son that is everything to me and would give up music in an instant for him...I also have the best fans ever... YOU ARE THE REASON I'M HERE TODAY!!!
