Neua's Angel

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a princess named Angel. Angel was the most beautiful and the most desired of all the women in the land. Every day, just before sun set, Angel would travel past the dark forest to the ocean. There she would watch as the sun would disappear over the distant waves of the water. When the stars were all that could be seen in the sky, Angel would lay back in the sand and let the stars make shapes in her mind. When she drifted off to sleep angel would dream of a knight in shining armor who would come and save her from her nightmares. One night, on her way back to the castle, the princess was met by a horrible monster. The monster kidnapped the princess and took her to a castle deep inside the dark forest. In side the castle an evil witch waited for Angel. The witch had watched as the princess passed her forest everyday, and everyday the witch grew more and more jealous. The witch took Angel and placed her under a deep sleep. She imprisoned the princess in the deepest, darkest dungeon in the castle, and placed a dragon to guard the door. Word of Angel’s disappearance spread to all the kingdoms, and knight from all of the came to the borders of the dark forest. To prove worthy of the princess’ love, each knight entered the forest alone. Inside the forest, the knights fought demons and trolls, to get to the front gate of the witches castle. Few made it through the forest, and less made it past the monsters with in the walls of the castle, but none made it past the dragon set to guard Angel’s dungeon. Soon the story became a fairytale, and the fairytale became forgotten. Angel stayed, untouched by time, and locked away from the world.
