Daniel E. Curtis
The Star of Football.. Gradutated with Honors... Dreams of going on to play Pro Football perhaps or making a big success of himself some how... Is what Daniel Curtis Left behind when he turned 18... took on two jobs.. and became the Guardian of his two brothers Shane and Bryan Curtis.
He was a football god in High school... he started and stared at the postion of Quaterback for all four years, and the last 3 years he not only lead them to State... but he lead them to State undefeated and won.. Making McDanil High Warriors the undefeated Champions for 3 straight years. Everyone boasted that no one could stop their star Quarterback... and if they tried they got squashed. They all looked to Danny.. as the Guy that couldn't be beat...from that.. he was given the nick name.... Superman... the fact of him living on the South Side as almost completely forgotten.
Thou Danny never played for anything but the love of the Game.. he did dream that maybe one day he would rise and maybe become Pro.. hey... who knows anything is possible if you put your mind to it. And if not that, He also managed to keep up his grades.. making A's and B's helped him to graduate with Honors..
He only dated once in a grand while threw out his high school years.. he was more interested in making something of himself. He never got caught up in drugs and alcohal.. he attended the occational party...but he was an all and all good kid... and his gradutation should have been a Grand time.. for he sure earned it.. with all his hard work..

But that wasn't to happen.. for the big tuff guy sat in his graduation gown and hat.. leaning back in his chair.. with tears in his eyes... for he didn't have a soul person there to watch him graduate... His Parents a few months before, died is a tragic car accedent... and his brothers.. Shane and Bryan.. had been taken to a boys home... while Danny was left with friends so he could finish up high school. The loss of his parents was devisating for Danny... but the loss of his brothers on top of it... left a grim and depressed youngman.
His Parents had left behind enough money for him to go onto collage.. and make something of himself. Having thought the younger two would be taken by state.. everyone was stocked when that is not at all what happened.

Danny... pushed aside his own dreams and took on two jobs.. one in the morning as a roofer for a local contruction company.. the other was 2nd shift at the McDanil Factory. He worked hard and with the collage money bought his parents house that was already half paid for by his parents before they died... and took the rest of the money and paid for the Best lawyer in the small city.. Kenith Taylor.. and as soon as he was offically 18 years old.. he fought tooth and nail for custidy rights to be Guardian over Shane and Bryan. He had to work hard and long days to show his responsibilty.. before the State allowed it.. he had to hold his jobs for four months.. keep his house in order.. bills paid and food in his fridge and in four months time he would be granted his Guardainship.
Threw his time of trial.. he did nothing but eat sleep and work... and due to his run in's with Paul McDanil the rich kid living off Daddys Dollar.. did two things... started a pure hate for the oldest McDanil boy... and a push to drive harder to his new goal. and dream... earning the right to keep them under his care, and keeping his brothers fed, clothed, and well protected.
Over the years His heavy work in both Jobs made him bigger and stronger then he was in high school... he is the size of a Pro Wrestler ((Kane from WWF lol hey you gotta love Roleplay! lol)) and ten times as strong. As he and his brothers grew he became a Lengend not just for his glory days of football... but there out on the Southside streets... there have been many who tried to take on Danny... even more that failed. You mess with Danny you got hurt. But if you were in a mess.. he helped you out.. if one of his buds was introuble he was there. His rep as Superman grew.. untill the time came... when not one hood didn't know of Danny... of his strength.. and his undying vow to protect those he calls friends or anyone that comes up as the underdog... with his Smarts.. and his Strength.. the southsiders look to him more often then not.. as the unoffical leader of the Southside.. Hoods...
He can come acrossed as a hard ass.. even mean sometimes.. but in his chest beats a heart of gold... his love for his brothers is well noted. there is nothing he will not do to ensure their safety and well being.. as he pushes Shane to keep his skills working at his talent with machanics... and pushing Bryan to work hard in school and keep up his grades so that he could go on to make something of himself and get out of the ruffness of the hood...but not only did he take care and watch out for his brothers... but any and all kids.. runaways... cast aways.. or kids that just need a place to rest from their rotten deal they call life. He never turned anyone away. He took care and protected them all.. some say he is crazy to take on all these troubled kids.. some say he will crack and go insane... for Danny NEVER puts himself first.. he Never does anything for himself... but if anyone knew Danny well.. they would know.. that as hard as it is some times.. there is not one place he would rather be.. Nor another thing he's rather do... he might complain.. but Daniel E Curtis... would rather die then stop caring and protecting.. these kids.
With his brothers Shane and Bryan, the guys and girls that have become more like family, and now with his new Ward Cailyn.. and his baby girl Maggie... their ain't nothing taken this young man from his family.. or stopping him from showing them a big brother.. father.. friend.. that cares about them.. no matter what they do.... or what brought them to live in the little house.. with a heart.. in the center of a dangerious world.
