Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh Originality Project site, I’m Tsuperfly and I’ve started this site to encourage original thinking in deck making. Just recently I realized that Yu-Gi-Oh TCG was started to become stale, how you ask. Every game I play with a reasonable skilled player is decided by who draws the right cards first, that would be alright, but often those right cards are Delinquent Duo, Yata-Garasu, and so on. When I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh I would have loved to use the same deck as the top person at my store, so time past and I did. Somehow the deck didn’t feel right to play, so I started to try to play originally, then weeks past I looked at my hybrid deck, and it was cards away from the top persons deck, only two Torrential Tributes off. That kind of made me mad, I worked for originality, but still have the ability to win. Then it finally struck me, it is possible to win with out the winning cards. I started this site to change the face of Yu-Gi-Oh. If half the people at your tourney are beat down, hybrid, or hand destruction decks, including yourself, its time to spread the word, its time to change. On this site I will try to update everyday I can with something useful. I have plans for a list of underplayed cheap cards, and how to play them. Then I plan on testing other deck types playability in the modern game of Yu-Gi-Oh. Hopefully I will be able to make a deck fix, for original decks, and to change cookie cutter decks into more original winning decks.
