Rookie GM Brandon Sun inherited this team.
First he flexed his muscles and made 14 signings during free agency.
Then came the salary restructuring and fiscal management as the inefficient system, that was previously used, was overhauled.
Then came the wins. But GM Sun was still not satisfied.
Trades were made and the team received a face-lift.
The old, expensive and ineffective were dumped as pieces of a championship team fell into place.
Superstars Chris Pronger and Brian Smolinski and Mike Modano were acquired to fuel vigour and ardor into a young and timid team.
The team started playing to par.
GM Sun then agreed to help out Commish Garnett with the Powerrankings page, playoff pool and captaincy page; projects he singlehandedly completed.
However he is still not satisfied. Despite the Devil's terrific season being #1 in the East and #3 overall in the league for the majority of the season.
There is only one goal in Brandon's mind and his eyes are set on the beloved prize - acquiring the coveted Stanley Cup that scintillates with glory and embodies a hundred years of passionate hockey history.
