    information systems are complex, so they requires careful planning to assure success

    Business organizations are continually seeking to increase profits, increase market share and reduce cost.

    The environment in which business operates is extremely competitive and this trend is certain to continue

    with the effects of globalisation.

    Video conferencing - face to fact meetings over a log distance

  2. Suppliers: Suppliers of IT and services make know what is or will be available

  3. Contacts: Other people, may be Colleagues, fellow students, Professional Organization fellow

  4. Publications: Newspapers, Trade Journals, Computer Magazines

  5. Internet: All companies now provide Information about their products and services online

    Training is required when the technology is implemented but also during its period of use. Part of the

    continuing management function is to analyse the skills users require and ensure that they have them.

    Other forms of support can be the set up of an Help Desk. The effectiveness of the Help Desk would also

    need to be continually monitored.
