Objects to NCTV deciding what residents can see

This letter is in response to the article "NCTV Postpones Palestine Program" in the May 25 Naperville Sun. That article described the objection raised by some residents and Mr. David Miller, (president) of the NCTV board to the proposed broadcast of the TV program "Life in the Occupied Territories."

I have an open point of view on the Palestinian matter and object to Mr. Miller and the others deciding for me and residents of Naperville what we can see and hear. If it is hateful propaganda, it will be seen for what it is.

The residents of Naperville should be allowed to pursue the quest for intellectual honesty without the obstruction of Mr. Miller and the others. As to Mr. Miller's desire to provide "balance," I do not believe that the Palestinian point of view has received a disproportionate amount of attention in America.
