ETO Group List Email Policy

 

The ETO@yahoogroups.com email list is a general purpose list set up to share information on community events, articles, invitations, meeting notices, announcements, film/TV notices, etc. relating to Palestine/ Israel.

 

This list is a public list for exchange of information and read by many people from various viewpoints and backgrounds. 

 

An initial comment in response to a posted message can be sent on the general group list but subsequent responses should continue off the ETO list.

 

If you have a conversation/ exchange/ debate you’d like to continue about a topic sent to the general list, please respond to the originator/ sender individually by using the REPLY feature. 

 

DO NOT REPLY ALL at the ETO@yahoogroups.com list to continue a conversation/debate on a topic.

 

Members' postings are expected to observe rules of common courtesy and eschew remarks that denigrate or disparage groups of persons on the basis of their beliefs, race, gender, ethnicity, or religious affiliation.

 

If, in the judgment of the ETO Steering Committee, these guidelines are violated, the violator will be notified by the committee.  If the violation continues, the violator's membership in the ETO email list will be terminated.

 

For future reference, this policy will be listed in the the group description on the web page (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ETO/).
