Bishop Joseph Sprague, leader of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church, will speak and conduct a forum on World Peace. Bishop Sprague recently was a part of a 19 person, interfaith delegation, that visited Afghanistan for the purpose of sowing seeds of understanding and peace between diverse peoples.

He comes at the invitation of Wesley UMC and the End the Occupation Coalition. ETO is a coalition from the western and southwestern suburbs of the Chicagoland area belonging to various faiths and ethnic backgrounds. They have been meeting for over a year to raise awareness and to promote a just resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
