Beesh: Depends on what kinda
weed I smoked that day. Sometime my dick hooks to the left and sometimes

Name the projects that you’ve been
on since you been in the rap game?
My first group ever was Potna Deuce.
Signed to Profile. Radio didn’t give us no love. I think we
were before our time. It was Latinos and Blacks together talking
that playa shit. Now everybody is on that playa tip now. I think
it was kinda different to people. Radio stations weren’t up on that,
they were up on Al B. Sure and all that shit. But we sold a
good amount. We had a video that was on CMC. People till this
day will be like” Potna Deuce, what’s up with Potna Deuce?” We’re
talking about getting together and doing a reunion album.
How did you hook up with Jay-Tee,
as far as Latino Velvet?
I kinda grew up with Jay-Tee.
He’s my homie, he’s damn near family. He was doing his N2Deep thang
when I was doing Patna Deuce. I’ve been with him a long time, doing
shows, going on the road. His dad is Mexicano, he’s a half-breed.
We’re Vallejo Mexicans, we’e kinda different. There aren’t too many
Latinos growing up in Vallejo. I thought I was the only fucking Mexican
in Vallejo, then I met Jay-Tee who was at the other high school doing his
thang. I use to break and pop and all that shit. I was a youngsta.
So we didn’t gang bang. See I’m not from the Barrio. I’m a
different kind of Latino. I love my race, I love mi Raza, but I’m on some
other shit. I didn’t come from the Barrio and I don’t know how to
gang bang. You know what I mean? I don’t know about that shit.

a “Rapper” what do you do?
I don’t want people to compare
me to no rapper, MC. I don’t rap, I spit. I’m a spitter, know
what I mean? A lot of people are into real”ohoooo hip-hop kid, hip-hop
lyricists” I twist my lingo up . I spit. It’s difference, please
believe it’s a difference. The saucy muthafuckas know I’m talking

Do you feel you get caught in the
middle of whom to work with since you don’t gang bang, I mean cuz people

Yeah, Roger Troutman was my Boy!
They shot his dome man! He was a hogg! I’ve been on 3 songs
with Roger. We would talk on the phone every month. We would
crack each other up, he’s a character like me. The next thing you
know.......bam! The one thing that really upset me was MTV didn’t even
really give it any coverage. MTV is on some other shit! They’re
trying to clean everything up. Look at SpiceGirls, Puff Daddy, Will
Smith all blowing up. They don’t wanna hear the grimy street shit.
Nowadays people ain’t as broke as they were 10 years ago. Kids growing
up now got a little more money then they did in my day. We used to
bump that street shit! Nowadays your getting fed all this shit on
the video and radio. Black and Mexicans e even got money now.
