Tempus Fugit

If he doesn’t succeed tomorrow, he’ll try again yesterday. A fugitive from the future, Tempus Fugit was bored of the peaceful 22nd Century, until met 19th Century time travel inventor and writer H.G. Wells. Tempus forced Wells to take him to 1966 Smallville to kill a young Clark Kent, who would bring peace to the Earth by Tempus’ time. Tempus’ plan was foiled but managed to find other ways of traveling through time. From that point on, Tempus simply exploits an understanding of fourth-dimensional concepts – that all time and space exist simultaneously – plus an ever-changing arsenal derived from other time periods to stop the creation of a worldwide Utopian and install himself as King of the Earth. Despite foiling this would-be conqueror’s plans in the past, present and future, the original and current Justice Leagues never know when he will strike next, even though an older version of Tempus was killed by Adam Kent in 2040. But for now, Tempus Fugit lives to fight another day. Any day.
