When Hal Jordan was killed in the Battle for All Time, Kyle Rayner filled the void created by Hal's death. Kyle not only possessed a resolve almost as great as that of his predecessor, but he fueled his power ring with a fertile imagination: his career as a freelance artist enabled him to use the ring to construct complex objects out of thin air. Such creativity had served this Green Lantern well on more occasion, which made him an invaluable member of the Jack Kent's Team Titans and the Green Lantern Corps. Unforunately, Kyle was killed by the Anti-Monitor during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
