Story:
Darius Marsden's personal mobile suit, the Damacles, is built upon the base frame of a Jade model suit. Over Marsden's military career, he had collected and purchased and illegally requisitioned enough parts to make his dream of an incredibly fast melee fighter a reality. The Neo-Titanium/Gundamium used in it's construction provides satisfactory protection, but allows for amazing speed, due to it's extremely light weight. In order to make up for the Neo-Titanium/Gundamium's lessened defensive capabilities, Damacles is equipped with two AMS', one on either shoulder. The AMS (or Anti-Missile System) merely releases a cloud of chaff, which will detonate incoming missiles on contact. The weaponry the suit is equipped with reflects Darius' interest in medievil weaponry and warfare. He opts for the heavy-handed force of the Broadsword and Long Sword rather than the speed of lighter beam sabres. His Long Buster Shield can be used, if necessary, as a close-range pummeling weapon. His only long-range capable weapons are the two beam cannon's mounted on his head-piece. The last item, the Bardiche, is used when the Damacles can rely on it's speed rather than on the Buster Shield for defence, since it is mainly a two-handed weapon. The colouring (black with red trim) is reflective of Darius' tempestuous nature.
