*[Official statement of Trowa Barton]: Aeris never really knew her real parents. One of the things I admire about Aeris is the fact that she was content with what she had. She always adjusted very well to certain situations, even if she wouldn't reguraly act that way. The best example I can give is that, for only a moment, Aeris got over her spacephobia and flew into space to rescue her sister, Tomi. I remember Aeris stating once that as long as she could protect the things she did have, she didn't have a need to expect much more from life. She always had a rough and curt attitude with me, and was always displaying an attitude of strength, but underneath her facade, she was delicate and hurt. I had to learn earlier on with her that she was always hiding her true feelings. She told me that on the day the shuttle crashed toward to Earth, Tomi's mother, Natsuko, covered her with her own body. With Natsuko's dying breath she told Aeris that she had to be strong. I think that ever since that day, Aeris has had a hard time displaying emotions other the cheerfulness that she uses to hide her other feelings. The only time her emotions changed was around me, ever since the day day I had saved her life. I'm not sure why, but I don't want to give up on her. I know, deep inside, that she loves me. I just wish someday soon, she can tell me in her own words. "I love you too, Aeris."
[Official statement of Tomi Ishino]: Ah, Aeris. My "little" sister. What can I say abou t her? She's sweet but strong, idealistic, but opinionated... and STUBBORN! But, still, She never faltered to help me out when I need her, she's always been there right by my side. I cherish her, not only bcause we grew up together, not becuase she's my adopted sister, but because she's always been very supportive of me. Not to mention the fact that she wants to see Bri dead, but... we won't go there. She's very conscious of herself and hardly gives herself credit for her actions, but she's always handing out compliments to those that have either earned them or needed them. She's definately on her way to becoming one of the best G-Sys pilots ever!
