Founded in 1860, it is the
2nd oldest brewery in the country.

August Schell Pils Beer- Amber gold, flowery front with a good malt body.
Schell Deer Brand Beer- Pale gold with an sourish taste.
Schell's Octoberfest- Orange, malty - a good version.
Schell's Bock Beer- Caramel malty taste, short aftertaste.
Schell's Blizzard Ale (later
bottled as snowstorm)-
Dark malty beer with a nice
malt aftertaste.
Schell's Firebrick All Malt
Vienna Style Lager-
Brownish malt beer, rather
unimpressive.
Zommerfest Summertime Malt Ale- Clean malt taste, good on a hot day
Ulmer Braun Beer- Dark brown
malty beer with a nice finish
not bad, especially for
the price.
Alimony Ale ( contracted
for Buffalo Bill Brewery - Hayward CA)-
A bitterly hopped amber.
Schell's Dopple Bock- Big bodied malt beer that is well hopped. Rather strong.
Schmaltz's Alt An enjoyable little malty beer. Dark brown with a lingering aftertaste.
Slo Cole Porter ( contracted for SLO brewing of San Luis Obispo, CA)- Brown Malty beer with and intense lingering aftertase, very good.
Vittorio's Wolf's Beer (for Joseph Wolf BC Stillwater MN) A light amber malty beer.
Louie's Evil Lager- Big bitter malty flavor up front with a long lasting aftertaste.
Schell's Maifest Blonde Double Bock Beer- A spring treat. Dark golden color with a rich malty taste, a strog beer.
St Croix Maple Ale (contract for St. Croix Brewing Co.)- A malty beer with a maple syrup sweetness to it.
Hauenstein Classic New Ulm Beer- Simply horrid, sour beer. (possibly the worst beer i've ever had.)
Schell's German Pale Ale-
A nice MAlty beer that is well hopped.

Spanish Peaks Black Dog Ale- A semi dark Well hoped beer with a dry malt aftertaste.
