After goining here on numerous
occasions i have found the waitstaff can be
quite rude, and the food
is below average, especially for the price. Their Regular
gas pumped beers are rather
watery, but i must say that their cask conditioned
beers and seasonal I have
found to be quite good on occasion.
Some of the better examples are:
Seasonal cask IPA- Great
hoppy beer.
Belgian Double- After one
of these I felt I was in the Abbaye.
Old Bastard Ale [cask]- Hoppy
dark ale with a malty finish.
Carnival Ale- The best beer
i've had by these folks, Very complex,
all sorts of things happen
in you mouth. Quite strong. Made for the St Paul
winter carnival torchlight
parade.
