Stone of Light

0: Two Tribes:

I am the poison of the world. For too long, I have been in the darkest corners of space. I had been asleep until I heard someone singing.

So warm.

I felt something warm stirring in my heart. I have to have it. I couldn’t move. I looked down at the darkness around me. I do not have a body. I think I had one long ago. However, I do not know what happened to it. I used to know but now I don’t remember.

There was her singing again. I lifted my gaze into the nothingness. That’s when I saw that light. Her light. I tried to reach out for it but I have no hands. I have to go her light.

I pushed myself to rise. I felt myself standing up. However, my movements are limited. I took a listen around me. The singing was gone.

Come back! Come back! I have to get her back. I have to get her back.

I vanished from my dark corner.

He’s woken up again. If he finds her, everything will be sucked into a black hole again. We worked so hard to shut him off into the further corners of space. What woke him up? How did he wake up? Who was supposed to be watching him to keep him sleeping? We… no, I can’t let this happen again. I lowered my teacup. I rose to my feet and vanished into thin air.

Time to get back to work again. I’m getting too old for all of this.
