Zoid Battle...Ready? Fight!

Welcome to my Zoids shinseiki/ZERO site.

Zoids was an old toy franchise back in the 80's before it was resurrected in the year 1999, where it became a 67 episode long anime.  The follow-up anime, Zoids shinseiki/ZERO debuted just last year, and several months afterwards, surprisingly made its way overseas and into the Toonami block of Cartoon Network.  Although not quite as complete as the previous series with a span of a normal 26 episodes, this series is an exciting tale well worth watching.  Another comment that I'm adding is that although the first series has a much better plot, the Zoids in this new series were designed to undermine the strength of the Zoids from the first series.  The DiBison and Command Wolf, the Zoids for Tomas and Irvine were completely destroyed, and the fact that not even three Genosaurers can beat the Berserk Fuhrer lends toward this idea.   There's many more references, but that's about enough.

Centered in the Milky Way on the planet Zi, the entire world is a battlefield for mechanical lifeforms called "Zoids."  Each Zoid is unique and takes the shape of an animal.  Fighters are divided among teams in an organized system of ranks set by the Battle Committee.  This anime focuses on the story of a young salvager who becomes one of the greatest battlers ever to grace the Zoid battle arena.
