Piercing Eyes/Blue-Eyed Angel

Ok, I wrote this poem when I was supposed to be taking notes, but *shrugs* when you have an idea, run with it, no matter what happens. This is a 2 perspective poem, between Duo and Heero, both characters in Gundam Wing (which I do not own, claim to own, or will ever hope to own, they are owned by people with high tech mecha....no, wait, that's the docs from the series,...they are owned by the peeps that created them, and I tip my hat to the creaters of such in depth characters....however, I simply ask that you don't sue me!)....also, I suppose it can be considered yaoi (boy likes boy...however, it has progressed to boy getting boy, at least not yet....), therefore, if you are against anything between same sexes, stop reading here. Don't flame me, I warned you!

Also, I must point out, that they may seem OOC. I don't have cable, but have gotten hooked via a web site, and am in the proccess of watching the series through friends and tapes I have bought. If you wish to pay my cable bill, then maybe I'll finally be able to do a character study, and protray these guys correctly. Until then, have pity on me, and if you're against OOC things, stop reading now.


Piercing Eyes
(from Duo's POV)

Piercing eyes,
Piercing my soul.
To get past that mask
Is my only goal.

I sing my braid,
And act like a fool.
Laughter and jokes,
Played to a goul.

Your mask impassive,
Mine a flourish of laughs.
'Cause I'm imprisioned behind it,
Nothing new will come to pass.

Day dreams,
Intangiable at most,
Pass by, unseen,
Like an invisible ghost.

I wish I could,
But do I dare?

A blue-eyed angel
Fell from above,
Melted my heart,
And now I'm in love.

Talkative baka,
Chestnut hair and easy grin.
Though you don't know it,
You always win.

I frown, and growl-
Big bark, small bite.
You, I can't kill,
But only with fight.

I mask my feelings
With a steady glare.
I take a breath
And try not to stare.

I will not shame you,
So I shan't say a word,
Just watch and wonder
And hope I'm not heard.
