The completed jeep ....... or is it?.....

Here it is a small collection of the finished jeep throughout the summer of 2003. I logged over 2200 miles in "Phoebe" since her restoration was completed this early spring. I hope that everyone enjoys these pictures as much I do, I had a blast taking them. I had a great time and will forever remember this experience, its kinda like having a child I guess. I have one on the way so i will find out shortly what that is like. Everyone says its like owning a jeep, when you first get your jeep home everything is ah's and oo's. After a while it starts to bear down on you.... you get the picture. Enjoy the pictures and if you have any questions please feel free to email me.

I was out driving one day saw this bridge near Reynoldsville, PA and told myself I would come back with the jeep and get a great picture of my jeep and the bridge. Looks pretty nice with the bridge as a backdrop. It helped that this bridge was only 15 minutes from my house. I wrote was due to the fact that shortly after this picture was taking they started to repair the bridge or take it down. Not sure the way PennDot works it is probably still up and ropped off without any work having been accomplished.

The snow started to fall early this winter in Dubois, PA so I decided to take advantage of it. This picture was taken on 13 Dec. 03, I looked outside saw it was snowing and immediately pulled the jeep out to get a nice coat of snow on her. Drove around for a little while and found this nice little area down by the marina. I think this picture and the rest came out great!

Jeep Dog

The dog's name is Clyde, he is my ever devoted Jeep dog. Yup that's right I said Jeep dog. Two words set this dogs heart on fire, nope its not food, well maybe treat but that is only one word. The phrase that sends him into orbit running around barking trying to pull the leash down and get you going is... Jeep Ride. This dog could be sleeping so soundly that not even a slammed door would wake him. But if you say..... Clyde, wanna go on a Jeep Ride? He is awake like a guard dog on line. This dog has about as much time watching me work on "Phoebe" as I do working on her. The scarf he is wearing is WWII parachute material. As you can see I had a little bit of a load in the back. Clyde and I were on our way back from an Antique Machinery show near Dubois, PA. The show was great! I was the only jeep there but man were there some amazing machines out there. Well over 80 different type, mainly farm tractors and such. It was like a MV convention but for antique machinery. I made some great friends there and they asked me to bring the jeep back next year. Seems alot of these tractors shared the same motor in some instances. Interesting indeed.....Oh yeah, look on the front of my grill, you can barely see a license plate, I found a 1944 PA License plate in the local antique shop to add something different to it for the show. The holes were already there from the previous owner.
