Hello! Welcome to Padfoot's Hideout! This is a special place devoted to every ones favorite convicted murderer! I will be posting many things about Sirius Black, The Dog Man, Shaggy Dog, and Snuffles, to just name a few of his nicknames! If you have any information about Padfoot that I do not have on my site I would love to hear from you in an email! All comments and criticism is welcome! I take flames and read them then laugh, to tell you now. I also approve of Slash or others might know it as Yaoi. If you have an opposition to that please don't come crying to the Web Mistress when she posts Slash Ficcies or Pictures. Pictures and Fan art are welcome also! A Summery of Sirius Black

His name is Sirius Black, others might know him as Padfoot or Snuffles. In his school years his best mates were James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. We have our suspicions that Sirius played as a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. He was quite a troublemaker with James.

In his third year Padfoot, James, and Peter found out Remus' secret, he was a werewolf. So for the next two years they figured out a way to become animagus. Sirius a black dog, James a stag, and Peter a rat. For the remaining years at Hogwarts they traveled around the grounds and then produced the Marauders Map that showed every one and every thing on the Hogwarts grounds.

About two years after graduation of Hogwarts James Potter, his best friend, and Lily Evens became engaged. (This time is not specified in the books, I'm making an educated guess) James made Mr. Black his Best Man. That July on the 31 they had a beautiful boy that they names Harry James Potter. Sirius was named godfather. About a year and three months later the Fidelius Charm was placed over the Potter family and Sirius was to become the secret keeper but in the last minute had his best friend change it to Peter Pettigrew. No less than a week later Voldemort came and man slaughtered the Potters.

The next day Sirius confronted Peter on a Muggle street corner to kill him but little Pettigrew got the better of him! He blew up the street and ran for it afraid that Black was going to kill him, leaving his first finger cut off on the street. Sirius just stood there and laughed his head off at what happened. They shipped Sirius off to Azkaban being one of the most heavily guarded in the prison.

But Sirius being Sirius he escaped from Azkaban during Harry's summer before third year. He was out to get Pettigrew who was at Hogwarts in disguise as Scabbers, Ron's rat. Sirius, on my opinion, was kind of stalking Harry around the grounds.

At the end of the school year he managed to confront Peter in the Shrieking Shack with Remus Lupin, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger there. Remus and Sirius told them the story about what had happened. They where going to turn Peter in but a cloud shifted and Remus turned into a werewolf and Black took off after him. Pettigrew escaped.

Sirius was captured, however, only to be set free with Buckbeak, a hippogriff that Harry and Hermione saved.

So until the middle of Harry's fourth year Snuffles was in hiding from the wizarding community. That was when he was staying at a cave in Hogsmead. He met with the Trio and told them about the death eaters and Barty Crouch.

But at the end of the fourth year, after the Tri-Wizarding Tournament and Voldemorts up rising, Sirius was sent out to Remus and alert him and the 'old school'.

~~~ Sirius has black hair and black eyes. He is fairly tall and thin. You pronounce his name like 'serious'. He wears graying robes and rides a Hippogriff around at night. As an animagus, he is a black cross between a husky and Newfoundland. So if you every see a stray in your back yard with that description, that comes to the name Snuffles, watch out it might be Sirius.
