Adopt a Bunny

These are mainly basic plot ideas I've jotted down here and there on my computer. Most of them I've decided I just don't have the time or inspiration to write, and the rest are ones that I love, but are so far down on my list I'll never get to them. There are more, but I haven't been able to bring myself to part with them yet, including a number of fics I started and just can't finish. (sigh) Maybe one day... If you'd like to adopt a bunny, please mail me at moon_faerys_garden@yahoo.com with the name of your chosen bunny. The bunnies can be adopted multiple times and adjusted as the author sees fit. Please, please tell me if you've chosen to take one of them, because I would love to read it and archive it if at all possible!

I'm sorry of the notes seem... odd. I never expected to have anyone else use them, and for most of them it's been so long that I don't have a clear enough vision of what it was originally supposed to be to re-write them. (bows) Gomen nasai.

Name: ZERO Childe Status: Unadopted
Concept: The ZERO System, as we all know, was definitely an advanced piece of technology, allowing its user to glimpse future possibilities and apply them in a real-life battlefield scenario. But that's not all.

ZERO was sentient, and it foresaw it's own demise. Being an intelligent being, it planned ahead.

ZERO has a son/daughter. Somehow (possibally via computer-net access?), it created a human child, with all it's main features and functions. Humans, however, have imperfections that no ammount of genetric tinkering can erase, and every child has to grow up.
Moon Faery's Notes: I honestly have no idea where this could go. There's just too many possibilities, and I mainly to romantic comedies. Somehow, I just don't think that style would fit the idea. It would be a "right shoe, wrong foot" scenario. I'd prefer to see this end up as a 1x2x1 (or any combinations therein), just because that's my favorite pairing, but I don't think I want ZERO's baby being the bad guy. Maybe an adoption thing..? I dunno. I might wave this one around on an ML and see who snatches the idea and runs off with it. It IS going on GW Yaoi.org - period.


Name: Beaches Status: Unadopted
*POST EW One Shot*
Howard loans boys a beach house he picked up for the summer, providing that they clean it up.
  • It's an old house (holes in the wall, door, et cetera)
  • odd things on the mantle and scattered around the house (old saddles, bull riding trophies [buckles], pictures of rodeos, a pair of boots under a [dilapidated] bed & an old, barely legible diary in the night stand)
  • The boys arrive early & start cleaing up (putting stuff in storage, moving in new furniture, etc)
  • Duo keeps the diary, because he's curious to try and read it, illegible or not
  • Something in the main room goes "smashy smash" while no one's in it
  • They all run into the room from different directions
  • All the pictures and knick-knacks they put on the mantle (to replace the rodeo pictures) look like they'd been swept off
  • Eventually Heero finds a footprint in the sand down by the beach
Moon Faery's Notes: Ideally, this one will be taken by someone who knows something about rodeos or bull riding (or is willing to do the research) and knows the song Beaches of Cheyenne by Garth Brooks. A good sense of the spooky would be nice too, but since I don't have one I'm not going to be nit-picky.


Name: Mechanical Vampire Status: Adopted by Dark_One Shadowphyre
Summary: Duo is a Vampire, but not in the classical sense. When he was an orphan on L2 he signed on for an experiment. ("The deal was three hot meals a day, somewhere safe to sleep, clothing and enough water to drink and bathe in until the experiment was done. Back then I would have sold my soul for a moldy sandwich and an old blanket.") The conductor of the experiment was a scientist who was absolutely fascinated by the concept of vampires. After finding out that most of what supoposedly made a Vampire was impossible to create genetically, he settled for a mixture of genetics (altered via a still-active virus carried in the blood stream) and mechanics. Duo was his only sucessful subject.
Eye Teeth: Artificially elongated. They extend via a tiny machine implanted in his gums that's activated by a radio signal from his brain that flips at the scent of blood or a concious signal.
  • Night Vision: Subtle blending of human and feline genetics.
  • Speed: Genetically enhanced the old fashioned way (used pretty much the same technique that J used on Heero in common Fannon realities)
  • Blood-Lust/Requirement: Mixture of genetic alterations and nanos (?) that alter taken bloodcells so that they can be used by his own body, regardless of type.
  • Immortality: Nada. The good nut-case couldn't figure that one out. The Nanos in the bloodstream slow cell degeneration, but only by half.

Plot: Basically Duo gets injured and someone (Heero?) has to take care of him. In the process he finds out the truth. (Maybe via a blood sample?) Yaoi 1x2x1!
Moon Faery's Notes: I'm very fond of vampire fics, so I'm eager to see this one get a good home. The imagination's the limit as far as Mechanical Vampire goes. I've only given the beginning, so it could go as far as the adopting author wants, either to leave it as a one-shot or completely change the universe in a multi-part epic.


Name: Wolves Status: Unadopted
Romance/Comedy/Fantasy 1x2x1: Duo's some sort of Evil Magic-Type Thing Hunter, and he runs into Heero (a normal, non-magical wolf) while tracking some stray Sidhe magic. Heero and Duo travel together for a while, but for some reason they go their seperate ways. Heero's fallen in love with Duo, but knows he doesn't stand a chance as a wolf. Somehow, love/will power/some unknown magic? turns him into a human. Seeing as Duo's the only human he's ever seen up close, he turns into a very MALE human. ^~ Now he just has to figure out the trick to human speech and walking up right, not to mention what the hell those not-furs they insist on wearing are for. How hard can it be?

Don't ask.
I mentioned I like vampire fcs. Add anthro fics up there with them. This one's been scratching at my muse for about a year now, and I just don't have time to write it, between my half-finisheds, going to finisheds and Chasing Down the Moon. It's not quite as detailed as some of the other plots, so a lot of the basics are up in the air.


Name: Devil On My Shoulder Status: Adopted by Dark_One Shadowphyre
Summary: Heero gets injured on the job and Duo makes a deal with the devil (who looks remarkably like Relena) to save his life. The Devil keeps needling Duo until he finally makes a move and finds Heero very receptive.

Details:

  • AC 198; Heero and Duo are partners in Preventers, but "just friends"
  • Heero gets shot and is dying
  • Duo tells himself that he'd give anything to save his friend
  • Duo falls asleep holding Heero's hand

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Duo dreams that he's sitting in an office
  • Relena walks in, wearing something black, sexy and evil
  • Relena explains that she's the devil (a devil, to be technical) and she heard that he might like to make a deal
  • Duo does the "Relena, YOU'RE THE DEVIL?!" thing
  • Relena giggles and explains that she's not really Relena, but she thought it might be amusing to use a form he's used to viewing as evil, beside it being easier on his nerves as well
  • Duo soaks this in, then tries to explain that he's not going to sell his soul
    "What would I want with your soul?"
  • Duo: oO?
  • Relena and Duo make a deal that is she saves Heero's life, he'll let her experience human life through him for 24 hrs

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Duo wakes up the next morning and thinks it's a dream
  • See Heero sitting up in bed, unwounded and very much alive
  • A voice (Relena's) whispers in his ear "24 hrs, starting now."

--At Breakfast--

  • Relena enjoys tasting food through Duo, since she can't eat on this plane of exsistence
  • Duo enjoys tasting as many various foods for her as he can
  • Relena wonders what Heero would taste like
  • Duo chokes and says he wouldn't know
  • Relena asks whether or not he'd like to
  • "I don't like him that way!"
  • "And here I thought I'm supposed to be the one who lies, not you."
  • Duo tells her that though he likes Heero, they haven't done anything and he doesn't think they ever will, even though he knows that Heero's gay
  • Relena urges him to try SOMETHING, if only so she can feel what a broken nose is like
  • Duo refuses
  • Relena calls him chicken-shit
  • Duo (who can't stand being called a coward, even if it's true in this case) scoots so his knee is brushing Heero's
  • Heero looks up (slightly startled) and smiles (very slightly)
  • Duo blushes and keeps eating
  • Relena preens and says "I told you so".

From there it's a free-for-all that basically end in hopefully a lemon, at least Heero and Duo admiting that they love each other.
This is another one I love. (Yeah, I like 'em all. So adopt 'em! They're my babies!) I'd like to see it end up as a lemon, but I won't push for it. I'll just be happy if it gets written.


Name: Demons on Ice Status: Unadopted
  • Duo tells Heero that he loves him after a long bout of 'play'
  • Heero responds with his usual 'hn' and a cuddle
  • Duo pouts a little
  • Heero: Z_Z (asleep)

  • Heero wakes up the next morning to the revelation (bolt of lightning #1) that he loves Duo
  • Turns to tell Duo and sees that he's gone
  • Decides in his brilliant half-awakeness to chase after Duo to tell him
  • Heero: -_- Ninmu Ryoukai.

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Gets out of the shower to the phone ringing
  • It's Wufei; some cops "borrowed" Wing Zero
  • Wing Zero flies by the apartment window (pigs fly)
  • Heero: oO;; (cheek twitches)

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Races down the street on foot (forgetting that he has a motorcycle)
  • Passes a street-vendor lady selling edible hats "for the really kinky night out!"
  • Heero: o.o;; (buys three) (eat my hat)

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Runs into Quatre and Trowa
  • Explains everything
  • Quatre blinks and says that they'll be over to celebrate with pizza
  • After they finish decorating the Christmas tree with dollar bills, of course (money on trees)
  • Trowa says that they'll bring tea, too
  • Heero: oO;; (sweatdrops)

  • Heero dodges fat ladies in an open-air mall
  • Gets struck by lightning (bolt of lightning #2)
  • Heero: x-x (fizzle-fizzle-smoke) *cough*

~*~Scene Break~*~

  • Heero finally managed to track down Duo at an ice skating rink (Hell/Demons on Ice)
  • Heero stumble/slides over to Duo and knocks him over
  • Blurts out "I know I'm the last person who you'd think would say this, but love you too!"
  • Duo blinks and asks "Really?"
  • Heero kisses him and Duo (predicably) melts
  • Heero: ^-^ (smug)

Down in Hell, Hades and Persephone wonder how their son's doing
"Does it seem chilly in here, or is it just me?"
This one's completely planned out, I just have no urge to write it. It's supposed to be a songfic to Brad Paisley's Come On Over, a song I view as hilarious.
