Royal Romance Chapter2

Disclaimer: I do not own gundam wing or any of it's characters, I wish I did, but sadly, I don't. **sigh** oh well.
"Oh my god," The King said in shock. They had just arrived at thr ruined Cinq Kingdom.
The palace towers, were once so tall, and now, they were no more than a few feet tall. The beautiful roses that surounded the it, were now burnt and dead. No birds sang, no flowers bloomed, the ruins of the Cing Kingdom, were more like a graveyard to dieing trees, and plants, than a palace, to the most respected people, the Peacecraft royal family.
King Yuy got off his white horse, to inspect the place more. The two guards who were following him, were now observing the surounding areas of the ruins.
After a few mintues of investigating the perimeter, a yell was heard from one of the guards, who was out in the patch of trees.
"MY LORD! MY LORD!" the guard shouted. The king quickly heard the yell, and ran to the tree patch.
"What is it Gabriel," the king asked panting.
"Sir, it-it's a body,"
"A body?" he asked curiously.
"Yes, right this way, my King," he said while leading him through a maze of branches.
Both men looked at the figure, lying on the ground, unable to move nor speak at the moment.
The 'body' was of a girl, with golden hair, and had a torn white dress.
The king slowly approached her, and kneeled down beside her. He held out a shaky hand to check for a pulse. He was relieved to find a faint one.
"Gabriel, go, go and get Algo, we must bring this girl back to the palace," he ordered.
"But, your majesty, why should we bring her, it will do no good," he tried to reason with the king, but he was much too worried about the girl's survival, than to level with the guard.
"We will bring her, I am a king, I must care for the people inside and outside of my kingdom." "Go!" he demanded, losing his patience.
Gabriel hurried off to fetch Algo, for their trip back to the palace.
The king studied the girl for a while, wondering if she was a maid from the Cinq Kingdom's palace.
There were many scars and bruises which needed to be treated immediatley. He picked up the girl, with much care, and proceeded to head toward his stead.
****It was gettin close to 3 o'clock when the king arrived at the gates of his palace. Gabriel followed the king to the entrance, the girl in his arms, while Algo went to the stables, to tend to the horses.
"Gabriel, put her with Rosa, she will help her," King Yuy said.
"Yes of course," with a bow, Gabriel was gone. The king gave out a sigh of relief.
"We made it in time,"
"In time for what?"
The king turned around, to find his son, standing there arms at his sides, with a determined look on his face.
"Heero, now this is none of your buisness,"
"Oh, yes it is father, when someone new is brought back to my home, I have every right for it to be my buisness," he said sternly, his eyes glinting with frustration.
Eavesdropping, one of his best abilities King Yuy thought sadly, as he knew he was caught.
"My son, we can discuss this some other time, for now I am tired, and in need of your mother," he replyed and walked toward he dining hall.
Heero hated when his questions were ignored, and this was no exception. He did see someone else come through the doors of his home, and he was going to do everything possible to find out who or what it was.
