The space shuttle lands safely back at the space dock, and Duo notices the mysterious Gundam landing in a field close by. He takes Hilde by the arm, and leads her over to where he saw the Gundam land. He notices a man stepping out of the Gundam, and he is apparently waiting for them to arrive.
Duo: "Alright, what the hell is going on here?"
???: "..."
Duo: "HELLO?!? I'm talking to you, here!"
???: "It's been a while, Hilde. I see you still keep strange company. A former Gundam pilot, no less."
Hilde: "Scotia, that's not funny."
Duo: "'Scotia'? What kind of name is 'Scotia'?"
Hilde: "Duo!"
Scotia: "It happens to be my name. May I ask you what kind of name 'Duo' is? I don't see two of you."
Duo: "Well that can be arranged, buddy boy!"
Hilde: "Duo, stop!"
Duo: "Why are you protecting this loser, Hilde?"
Hilde: "Because... because he's my brother, Duo."
Duo: "BROTHER?!?"
Scotia: "It's always nice to meet the family, isn't it?"
Duo: "..."
Hilde: "Why are you here, Scotia? I thought you had disappeared after the battle with White Fang so many years ago?"
Duo: "White Fang? Wait, your brother works for..."
Scotia: "I fought with Treize Khushrenada. I was also a member of OZ, like my sister."
Hilde: "Scotia is the one that got me started in OZ. He taught me everything I know about combat."
Scotia: "I taught you how to stay alive, Hilde. I never wanted you involved in the first place."
Duo: "Oh, she has a habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. I could tell you stories!"
Scotia: "As could I."
Hilde: "Can we PLEASE get off of the Hilde-bashing, and find out what's goin on?"
Scotia: "Fine, but the story will be brief. After the battle with White Fang, I was assigned to a secret military center. There, they were in the process of building two Gundams."
Duo: "GUNDAMS?!? Whoa, wait a second! What were Gundams being made for?"
Scotia: "To battle you Gundam pilots, Zechs Merquise, or anyone else who got in master Treize's way. However, they were typically designed to fight Mercurius and Vayeate. This Gundam, called Quickdraw, was built solely to attack and destroy Mercurius. But the other Gundam that was to be built, never got started. The factory was shut down before it could be completed."
Duo: "That's all fine and good, but I wanna know who wants my head taken off!"
Scotia: "An organization called PHALANX. They are a group of extremists, who want to use war to cleanse the Earth of all weaker beings. Basically, they want to kill anyone who will not join their cause."
Hilde: "That's horrible! Can they be stopped?"
Scotia: "They have mobile suits, as you have witnessed. They want all obstacles out of the way, and that includes all Gundam pilots... and, Relena Darlian."
Duo: "WHAT?!? Oh man, this is bad!"
Scotia: "I must ask you both to leave, now. They have probably learned of your survival, and will be sending more units to destroy you. Go find your fellow Gundam pilots, and warn them of this up-coming danger. I will hold them off."
Duo: "You don't have to tell me twice! C'mon Hilde, let's go!"
Hilde: "Brother..."
Scotia: "Go, Hilde. I'll survive. I always do."
???: "Not this time, however!"
Duo: "What the...?"
Scotia: "Duo! Hilde! Go, now!"
