Meanwhile, at the circus, Trowa Barton is performing his final show of the night. With a bow, he leaves the stage.
As he leaves for his trailer, he gets the strange feeling that he's being watched. As Trowa walks behind a trailer, he quickly leaps on top of it, and catches two strange men lurking around.
Trowa: "I wonder who they could be?"
With a quick pounce, Trowa tackles both men, and knocks them unconscious. Trowa sees an I.D. on one of the men, and checks it.
Trowa: "This better not be the Barton Foundation again. No, it's not. 'PHALANX'? Who are they? And why were they spying on me?"
Back on the space shuttle, Hilde and Duo relax, while on their way to L2 Colony. Little did they know, that their trip would take a slight detour.
Duo: "I wonder what the colony looks like, now?"
Hilde: "I'm sure it's in much better shape than when you left it."
Duo: "I hope so, 'cause I wouldn't want to visit it the way it was."All of a sudden, the ships begins to rock back and forth.
Duo: "What the hell is going on?"
???: "Gundam pilot Duo Maxwell! We know you're inside that space shuttle! Prepare to die!"
Duo: "Oh, of course! They just HAVE to come after me!"Duo looks out the window, and sees 5 Leo space suits flying around the shuttle.
Duo: "Mobile suits? I thought they were all destroyed? Great, now what am I supposed to do?"
All of a sudden, a flash of light appears outside the window.
Leo 1: "What is it? What was that flash of light?"
Leo 3: "I don't know, sir! SIR!!! Leo 2 has been destroyed!"
Leo 1: "WHAT?!? By what?"
Leo 4: "Sir! Over to our left, sir! It's another mobile suit!"
Leo 5: "Another suit? I thought only PHALANX had mobile suits, nowadays?"
Leo 4: "I guess not! Captain, do you know what it is? Captain?"
Leo 1: "..."
Leo 3: "Sir?"
Leo 1: "It's... it's... it's a GUNDAM!!!"
Leo 5: "A Gundam? Impossible!"
Leo 3: "Surveillance told us that all Gundams were destroyed! That can't be a Gundam!"Just as Leo 3 spoke those words, the figure flew straight towards it, and with a slash of brilliant red light, Leo 3 was split into two pieces, and explodes.
Leo 1: "What the hell is going on?"
Leo 4: "What should we do, sir?"
Leo 5: "If we want to survive, we have to fight it!"
Leo 1: "I agree! Don't spare any ammo! DESTROY THE GUNDAM!!!"The three remaining Leo suits charge directly at the unknown Gundam, firing their guns. The Gundam's beam lance lights up, and the Gundam swipes at the first Leo, shattering it into pieces. With it's beam saber, the Gundam then swings at the second Leo, destroying it also.
Leo 1: "What the hell? There wasn't supposed to be any interference! We were to rule the world!"
???: "I guess ruling the world isn't in your future, after all."
Leo 1: "WHAT?!?"With that, the Gundam heads straight for the leader, and pierces it's beam lance right through the Leo's cockpit.
Duo: "A Gundam? What the hell is a Gundam doing here? And more importantly, who's is it?"
Hilde: "..."All of a sudden, a voice calls the shuttle.
???: "Shuttle pilots, I suggest that you head back to Earth immediately. These units were sent out here to destroy you, and I do not know if more are out there. Return to Earth."
The passengers all talk amongst themselves, as the pilots of the shuttle take the man's advice. Duo is perplexed, but Hilde looks shocked.
Duo: "Hilde? Is something wrong?"
Hilde: "Brother..."
