Intro (Bass Guitar)
The light rain falls over the dirt path that intertwines between the trees, making the dark green leaves move slightly. In one puddle in the middle of the path, the raindrops fall, creating small ripples with every drop.

Add Electric Guitar/Drums
A foot steps into the puddle, sending the water splashing away in all directions, and the brown haired boy keeps walking, hunching his shoulders as he walks through the rain. His face is soaked with water, his hair falling over half of his face, dripping.

I try to breathe.... Memories overtaking me
His already expressionless eyes are now even more so... So vacant that there doesn't even look like there is a soul within them.

I try to face them but the thought is too much to concieve...
He stops, and lifts his head to the rain, closing his eyes as it hits his face...

I only know that I can change
Trowa walks by one of the rooms of Quatre's safehouse, and knocks on the door, with no answer. "Aryn?" He knocks again, louder, and the door creaks open. He opens the door, only to find the room empty, the rain coming in through the open window.

Everything else just stays the same...
He looks around the room, his eyes landing on the computer. The screen is pure static, and he walks over to it, a message popping up: "Sorry, Nanashi, but I can't stay here."

So now I step out of the darkness that my life became 'cause
The message disappears, the static taking over the screen once again, and Trowa's expression goes from confused to concerned as he steps over to the window, seeing a shadow run into the trees a bit away from the building. He calls out, but the shadow doesn't stop, vanishing into the forest.

I just needed someone to talk to
You were just too busy with yourself
Trowa keeps walking through the rain, getting wetter by the second, looking at the ground most of the time, but looking around every once in a while to watch a bush or thicket of grass that moved, only to find out it was a rabbit or the rain.

You were never there for me to express how I felt, I just stuffed it down

The rain starts to fall harder, and Trowa looks up at the sky for a moment before dodging to the side of the tree, seeking shelter under the branches. When he gets there, he shakes his head, sending droplets of water all over.

Now I'm older and I feel like
I could let some of this anger fade
He takes off his jacket, and looks at it, dripping wet. He sighs, shaking his head, and drops the jacket to the ground, not even trying to bother doing anything to dry it off. He looks around him, the rain still falling, a few droplets still dripping on him.

But it seems the surface
I am scratching is the bed that I have made
He suddenly hears the cracking of a twig or branch from somewhere behind him, and he looks into the trees. "..Hello? Who's there?" Then he hears the sound of rustling bushes and grass, the light thudding of a pair of feet accompanying them. Whoever was there, they're long gone.

So where were you,
When all this I was going through
He takes one last look up and down the dirt path he was walking down, then turns to the trees. He walks for a bit, looking all around him while he walks, the rain coming through the leaves in a little drizzle.

You never took the time to ask me
Just what you could do
As the night starts falling, he just keeps wandering around, following what looks to be a set of footprints, but he was going to follow just about anything at this point... He follows the trail, past about ten trees.

I only know that I can change
Everything else just stays the same
He looks up as he passes a small group of trees, and sees a dark figure in the middle of a clearing beyond them. He steps closer and looks in the clearing.

So now I step out of the darkness
That my life became 'cause
He steps out of the trees and finds a girl standing there, her clothes soakes by the pouring rain coming through the clearing in the trees. "Aryn?" She turns quickly at the voice, and her face tenses a bit. "Nanashi?"

I just needed someone to talk to,
You were just too busy with yourself
He nods, and she turns again. "Why'd you bother to follow me?" He steps into the clearing, still a good five feet away from her, and she looks at him again. "Come home..." His voice sounds pleading, and she closes her eyes. "What are you talking about..? I don't have a home..."

You were never there for me to express how I felt
I just stuffed it down
"You can make your home with us. You don't have to stay alone-" His voice fades as he sees the look on her face. "...Aryn..." He steps closer. "Come back with me..."

Now Im older and, I feel like
I could let some of this anger fade
She shakes her head, her eyes shut tight. "NO!" He stops, and she stares at the ground, her hair dripping a little. "No ...I can't go back... I don't belong there..."

But it seems the surface I am scratching
Is the bed that I have made
He looks at her, and his eyes soften a bit. He steps closer, and lifts her face with his hands. "...You don't have to come back if you don't want to..."

Never meant to fade... Away
Never meant to fade...
She looks at at him, and he smiles. "I won't make you." He lets go of her, then turns and walks away, leaving Aryn standing there, her tears mixing with the rain.

I just needed someone to talk to
You were just too busy with yourself
He tightens his jaw, and shuts his eyes tight, both to keep himself from turning to see her and to stop the tears that threaten to fall down his face.

You were never there for me to express how I felt
I just stuffed it down
Quatre stands at the door, waiting as Trowa makes his way back. When he gets to the door, Quatre gives him a hopeful look, which fades quickly when he sees the look on Trowa's face. He bows his head and follows Trowa inside, taking one last look to the darkening scene before closing the door.

Now Im older and I feel like
I could let some of this anger fade Trowa sits on the couch at the safehouse, Quatre trying to convince him to get up. "She's out there somewhere, Trowa!" Trowa looks to his blond friend, smiles sympathetically, and goes back to watching the television. When Quatre tries saying something else, he is interrupted by a knock at the door. They look at eachother, then Trowa stands up, walking over to the front door.

But it seems the surface I am scratching
Is the bed that I have made
Trowa opens the door, the darkness of the night surrounding the figure that stands on the doorstep. She lifts her head, her face streaming with tears "Trowa, I-" She sees his face, and he just smiles. "Aryn..." He extends his arms to her, and she goes over to him.

...Try to breathe...
They greet eachother in a long hug, and Trowa closes his eyes slightly, smiling a little. He kisses her on the forehead lightly, and whispers: "...Welcome Home..."
