I give this thread several minutes before its closed,
but I do ask that some take to time to actually read what I have
written... I've been a member here for quite a long time, and I've never had any reason to complain, nor have I ever been the cause such. However as of late I've noticed much 'rivalry' happening between Monster Zero and Maser City, something that appears to be kept quite "hush hush" here. Now personally, I've never had much problem with this. Its the net, we're kaiju fans, and its all in good fun. Now I understand that Maser City has a vast amount of banned members, however many are also frequent posters at Monster Zero, myself included. Why we choose to post at Maser City should be our own choice. I don't need to start explaining that to you. I like talking with many of the people there, and I enjoy the time I spend there. However, this is what struck me today:
I'm an assistant administrator at Maser City, and I've heard a lot of what Maser City members complain about. Like wise, as a frequent poster at Monster Zero, I've also become accustomed to the general dislike over here. My conclusion is, you are BOTH simply fueling the fire. You are annoyed of the way several members spam here, true? From my experience, I've learnt that the main cause for this is the "blackout" Maser City has been receiving here. Its not because they are banned, they do not hold a grudge. They are doing it purely because Maser City is being hindered due to keeping it a secret all the time. Reversely, their spamming annyoys you, causing this vicious circle to ensure. What annoys myself personally is what Aaron said. I don't see why the entire board should be persecuted due to one or two members, because thats all it is. Besides that, insisting that all Monster Zero members complain is obsurd. In respect, it is infringing BbBoard rules, as I'm sure not all of you members are even personally effected by this spamming. Truly, I have no wish to cause any fuss at all, but this stupid rivalry is ruining both Monster Zero and Maser City. As experience has also taught me, this thread will now be deleted now, and my IP address banned permenantly. I suppose it was fun while it lasted however.

Sorry James but a good number of Maser City people do
hold a grudge and almost every person there has been banned repeatedly for
posting offensive messages here over and over and over. Look at that idiot
kornfreek who is on MC for a prime example. Starhunter was banned last
night for posting crap here as well. Don't give me this cap MC doesn't
hold a grudge, for some reasons those guys get their jollies by posting
porn and racist stuff here and all deserve it. There is nothing secret
here and they will continued to be banned and shut out like little
children. . Anyone here can go read the grudge posts against MZ at MC. So
how about keeping your guys away huh? Problem solved. P.S. Nice to see MC delete some of the messages against MZ and the insults toward China...don't worry, they are permamently in trash and BB support can look at them anytime.

Beyond that, I've gotten IMs from some MC people calling me an idiot, a MC member tried to hack the MZ admin accounts, MC people recently hit G Project and flooded it with racism and hate, and have repeatedly posted porn here, and they repeatedly insult various members here. I can't imagine why we take the attitude we do over here.  Richard

You can't have a rivalry if it's one-sided. MZ couldn't care less about your site as long as it doesn't cause problems here. Just don't expect MZ to provide you with free advertising.
I think we have very different definitions of 'good fun'.
No one here asked you for an explanation so don't get defensive. If you want to associate with a bunch of trolls who post personal attacks, racist comments, and pornographic material on a site children visit, be my guest. As the saying goes, the company you keep reflects on you.

Oh please! You're giving MZ way too much power by accusing us of keeping Maser City a secret. The internet's a big place... I'm sure there are plenty of places to plug your site. If it's not getting the attention you want don't blame us, blame the company you keep. I check out most of the kaiju sites regularly, but do not go to MC because I didn't care for it or several people involved with it. I suspect a lot of Godzilla fans feel the same. So if we stop "hindering" MC, it's members will stop spamming this board, will they? Sorry James, but that sounds like blackmail to me. I hope you'll understand when we don't rush to comply with your threats. BTW, did you make a similar suggestion to GProject... or will they continue to get racist and pornographic spam from your pals?

It's not absurd and it doesn't matter if all the members were effect by your buddies pornographic spamming last night. From the posts and alerts we received several of them were, and that's what matters. If you don't want trouble with BbBoards stop spamming... it's that simple.
There's no rivalry, just some immature trolls who love cause trouble. If you think it's ruining MC, then tell your MC buddies to stay at MC. Monster Zero will get along just fine, thank you.
Wow! Starting and ending your post with such talk! Thank you so much for keeping an open mind. You seem to have a real gift for turning a blind eye to your pals' actions. I suggest tending to your own garden instead of complaining to us.

I go to both boards, and until the latest debacle
(posted porn) nobody trashes MC. It is quite different on MC where people
rant and rave about the mods here, not to mention the posters. The only
person that gets ANY respect over there is Nightmareg. Beyond that, the
people there bash and flame as thy please. I have also been in chats with
many members, and I assure you that they constantly bash MZ. I can be fine
and go to both boards, but the fact is that the MAJORITY of trash that
occurs here in regards to MC is due in retailiation, hence James' point.
Both sides don't help matters, but in all due respect MC is usually
responsible. In defense of Sexy and Korn, I am fairly certain that they had nothing to do with last night's porn craze. It may have been some other MCers, but I wouldn't know. The bottom line remains that MC is a harsh place to go if you like this board. It can be funny and interesting if you have time on your hands, but nothing of good taste. |

Rivalry isn't simply defined as throwing insults at each other, as sadly several members of Maser City feel. There have been numerous times that threads containing any mention of Maser City have been deleted, of which ProjectPimp has archived. We never asked for free advertising, simply to be allowed to mention our name once in a while.
I thought you said this rivalry was one sided? That sounded very much like an offensive remark to me.

I think you'll find the reason why many Maser City members feel the need to spam Monster Zero is because not only did you ban them from your board, then cut off all Maser City discussion, but then several Monster Zero admins were often found going through topics on Maser City. Its not entirely justifable, but even I can understand that it must have felt like "intrusion" after being banished from Monster Zero.
You were not "ignoring" Maser City, you were deleting all evidence. As I said earlier, ProjectPimp has archives of threads saved in which the slightest mention of Maser City has been deleted.
I don't remember threatening you, nor blackmailing you. You want the spamming to stop, so do I. I've warned people multiple times, yet as I mentioned before I don't have the power to stop them. I'm simply suggesting a way to decrease this problem.
Considering I don't even know what G-Project is, I'm unable to answer that. I'll look into it however.
I'm not exatly controlling the action of the members. Those members may also post at other bulletin boards, so informing BbBoard that its Maser City causing the problem is what is absurd. The entire board is taking the blame for one or two BbBoard members, they are not solely Maser City members. If you have a problem, you should inform BbBoard of the individual members beacuse as I said earlier, a large percentage of Maser City members are fine, and many of which also post at Monster Zero happily.
Considering that you personally closed a topic of mine simply featuring a link to one of my kaiju news updates at Maser City, and PM'ed me to tell me that Monster Zero wanted no such mention of Maser City on the board in any form, I didn't really see much reason why this topic would survive long.
Not particularly, considering I've given Maser City and its members multiple warnings.

The first time I left a thread to Maser City open, China found a thread that was nothing but insults directed at her. As I understand it, there was yet ANOTHER thread there directed at her, as well as others. The next one I locked because the person giving the link was throwing out profanity. A third one I simply moved because it was inappropriate to the thread. I'm probably one of the more liberal mods, but I'm just tired of it. I mean, even Kedz has started banning people, and she's probably the most forgiving of the lot.
Well, if you're feeling such frustration, why keep it up? And I don't see the logic of having a mod without giving them some power. Though obviously it's not your fault and something you take issue with.
That justifies spam? porn? racism? No. Reasons is the wrong word James. Immature excuse is a lot closer to home.
So? One of the things Pimp goes on about is Freedom of Speech on MC. Yet an MZ mod gets banned for just showing up? LOL. At least they were banned for a reason here. That's just petty and, honestly, hypocritical and funny. So, they ban people from here just for being FROM here, and you think they're upset because we, in turn, don't mention them?
Pimp admits to having a hand in an original spam attack on G-Project (which used to be the biggest fan hub on the WWW), and their antics led, directly or indirectly to G-Project becoming a wasteland. Seeing that is what led us to tighten the reigns in the first place, so to speak (amongst other issues). Several weeks ago, a group of people, *all of whom were Maser City regulars* did the same thing to G Project again. A flood of racist posts. Saiko Genso is a friend of mine (and owns GProject). PM me and I would be glad to put you two in touch. I'm sure the conversation woudl prove to be enlightening. I'm also certain that several board members here can attest to this.
Perhaps. But, when you consider the GProject attacks were all by MC members, the admin hack attempt here was a MC member, the porn attack here was an MC member, etc., etc. you can see a trend developing, surely? Now, wouldn't you keep banning these people if they kept trying to join your board? Go to www.gojiworld.org/gproject/ and check out what that board's like now. Perhaps that would answer your question.

didn't think so. I don't know and neither do you. So how can you even say
they came from MaserCity for sure? Can you prove that? And even if they
did, so what? Did the WHOLE board spam this place? No, I don't think so.
But I'll tell you who did. SOMEONE WHO YOU BANNED. But that's obvious,
isn't it? So no, don't try to point a finger at MC because whoever is
doing this was obviously from THIS forum. Anyways, labeling any forum in
such a way is completely ludicrous. I'm surprised you could act so
childish. As for G Project, I am, in fact, familiar with it. And yes, I did see it get spammed, as you said. But do I know if it was all people from MaserCity who did it? No I don't. And I doubt it. You know as well as I do, no cowardly spammer would post using their own name. In my opinion, it was obviously a couple of punks using their names (I saw them using names from here, too, FYI) to start some trouble. Heck, for all I know it could have been YOU. The point is, don't go pointing fingers if you don't know what you're talking about. That's all I have to say. Peace, everyone. |

posted here? Name every single one of them. Then they could be dealt with
by the owners of whatever boards they frequent, couldn't they? That is, of
course, assuming they take to heart the same prejudice policies that the
