Planet Defensors are a revolutionary new technology, developed for the Mercurius and later used on the Virgo and Virgo II. An array of small disks surround the suit and generate a field that deflects both energy and physical attacks more efficiently than any shield can. Some models have been modified to attack an enemy by surrounding and electrocuting a target. Unfortunately, superior protection means mucho credits. Also, planet defensors can wear out after taking a certain amount of damage, so don't rely on the fact that nothing can touch you. Finally, they do not operate underwater.
