Duo's Story

Easy going but has a very violent side, calling himself Shinigami (The God Of Death). Also a very skilled shuttle pilot, able to fly straight into a barrage of gunfire and come out more or less unscathed, or at least arriving at his objective alive.

Duo is the happy-go-lucky one of the five pilots. His sense of humor often clashes with the seriousness of Heero or Wufei. He has a knack for picking up the spirits of people, making him a serious morale booster to the Gundam Pilots' cause.

After arriving on Earth during Operation Meteor, he hooked up with a group of salvage specialists called the Sweepers Group, lead by Howard. Using these slavage contacts, he is able to easily get weapons, ammo and repair items for his Gundam.

There is a woman in his life, Hilde Schbeiker, though he really never shows affection towards her. This "alliance" later provides vital information to the pilots in their war against OZ and White Fang.

He's always picking at Heero's serious side, and prefers to be upbeat and laid back, even going so far as to call his Gundam "Buddy."
