Steel Roses

Chapter 4: Eye of the Beholder

A.N: I must apologize for this chapter being behind schedule. I am contending with a cracked rib and cannot do much. My apologies. However, I do promise that there will be a few good twists as a bonus for those of you loyal followers. *Evil cackle* Come to me my pretties... Ahem, sorry, pain killers have taken over. Well, on with the story!

Dorothy laid in her bed, sobbing at the loss of the only man she ever or would ever love. Roger entered the small room and walked slowly to her. She looked up to find him sitting there next to her and frowned. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with that whore of yours? Leave me, go to her. She's who you really want," she concluded, her words dripping with venom.

Roger looked down upon her and frowned. "No, she's not. I want you," he paused to lift her chin. "She did that to make you angry with me. The last time I was with her like that was six months ago. I don't want that again. She was too much pain. You love me and I love you. Please believe me, I didn't want that. She was the one who did it," he concluded, bowing his head, waiting for her judgement. She looked up to him and smirked.

"Well then, Roger. You will have to show me how sorry you are," she laid back on the bed and beckoned him forth with her eyes, "show me." she whispered. Roger smirked and crawled to her. He slid under the sheets and gripped her close to his body. He noticed she removed her clothing. Roger smirked and the pair delved into the depths of their souls. The night wore on and the rift between them was mended in the touches and caresses shared between them.

Roger woke to find a weight upon his chest. Looking down he noticed Dorothy lying on him. The covers were at her waist leaving her back bare and breasts barely concealed with his chest. He brushed his fingers across her back, waking her from her slumber. She blinked and focused on his face. He smiled down on her. Dorothy clutched him closer and sighed deeply. She shifted into his embrace. "Roger, do you think about her at all? Angel I mean," she questioned. His face contorted into that of confusion.

"Why do you ask?"he retorted. She shrugged.

"You yelled her name in your sleep. I was just wondering," she responded. He shifted out of her embrace and stared wide eyes at his young lover. He blinked and took in a breath.

"I was having a nightmare. I was being attacked by R.D. and she suddenly turned into Angel and shot you. You fell to the ground dying and I screamed her name, attacking her. I woke up after that," he spoke solemnly. She looked up into his eyes and frowned.

She clutched the sheets and rolled over onto him. He grasped her and held her close to his chest. "Please, love, don't be angry at me. I am so sorry you are being put through this. I want all of this to end and I want you to be happy," he whispered, kissing her forehead. She shifted again and laid her head on his chest. Norman chose that time to enter the room.

"Master Roger, you have a client who wishes to speak with you immediately," he spoke before bowing slightly and exiting the room. Roger sighed and rose from the bed. Dorothy stared at her lover and smirked. He turned to look at her only to notice her smirking at him.

"What?" he questioned her. She just shrugged and turned over in the large bed.

"Nothing, I was just wondering if you planned to leave this room wearing nothing," she responded, noting he was about to exit the room. Roger blushed slightly, realizing he wore nothing other than a smile. He shot her a glare and moved to put some clothing on.

*******

Roger entered his office to see an older man in his mid to late 60's sitting in a chair. "Goodmorning," Roger spoke, extending his hand to the man. He smiled, taking Roger's hand and shaking it firmly. "What may I do for you today?" he queried.

"I am Mr. Scalzo and I want you to help me find my daughter," he spoke. Roger sighed and looked the man in the eyes.

"This is not really my area of expertiece, but I think I can help you," he responded. Roger took the mans hand and shook it vigerously before ushering him out of the room. He looked at Norman and returned to Dorothy.

On the way up to their room, he heard a small crash. He ran through the door to see none other than Angel and Dorothy. They stood still, staring at each other. Though Angel was fast, Dorothy had the advantage, being she was and android. Though, granted, she was a bio-android, she still was stronger and faster than the wrtched woman before her. Angel lunged at her and gripped her arm tightly. Dorothy smirked at Angel and flipped the woman over her shoulder.

Angel smiled at the android woman, "You are just angry that I fucked him first!" he cackled. Dorothy slapped her and picked her up by her hair.

"Maybe so, but at least he screamed my name when he was with you," Dorothy smirked. Angel paused for a moment knowing it was the truth. Dorothy smirked in triumph. Angel slapped her hard. Dorothy just turned her head back to face her and smirked. "You know, titanium doesn't break. Bones however, do," she smirked, gaining the look of the crazed, R.D. Roger faulted for a moment, remembering the android who tried to kill him. It frightened him to see that look in his lover's eyes. Dorothy punched Angel in the face, breaking her nose. Angel fell grabbing Dorothy's arm, pulling her along to the ground. The two pummeled the other until Roger stepped in, pulling Dorothy from Angel.

"Angel leave. NOW," he commanded. She smiled sweetly at him and reached up and kissed his lips softly. Dorothy stepped in and picked up the woman and marched her out of the house, throwing her into the street. As the door shut there was the screaching of breaks and a loud crash.
