Chapter Three
Trial of Life
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Relena screamed as Heero plummeted to the ground. He was sure to die, especially with his injuries. About 50 feet in the air, a beam of green light suddenly shot up from the trees, hitting him. Heero's body began to slow down. A beam of periwinkle shot down from the heavens. A beam of light cerulean shot out of the lake south of the castle. A beam of orange shot from the Phoenix Mountain in the east. All was still. Heero's body was floating in the air. The king gasps as at the sight. Ronc suddenly breaks the silence. "it seems that the gods do not want this angel to die. We should oblige them." The kings saw that Relena was winging towards Heero. "Relena! Get away from him." he shouted. Relena ignored him. She tried scooped him out of the light with his arms, but found that he could not get out of the light. He was unconscious. Relena was frantic. How wouldshe be able to get him out. She closed her eyes and clasped her hands in front of her and began to pray. The king was shocked "Relena, get away from that peasant! Right now!" She ignored him. Suddenly, a beam of golden light blasted from her heart to his heart, and the same happened to his heart. It was rapture. Relena felt like she was in heaven. An old mage at the castle spoke up. "That must be the soul spell. It can only be invoked for ones soul mate and true love. If it was invoked for one that isn't his or her true love, the one who invokes it will die. The spell is actually a prayer for the love of the invoker. This must be the first time the spell actually worked without killing the invoker." The king hearing this, turned pale. " I will not let my daughter marry a peasant!" Ronc turned and said, "Your Highness, if you married your daughter to someone else, she would die of despair, for she would never love any other. What she said earlier was true, the princes that seek her hand only what her for her position and their lust. After they are done with her, she would be flung into some dungeon. Better let her marry one that cares for her. If you didn't, she would probably never come back to the castle and stay up there forever, my lord." Silence answered him. The beams of multicolored light faded away. Only the golden beam that connected the two angels remained. But suddenly, the gold faded too.
Heero slowly awakened. 'What happened? Why am I still alive?' Slowly, he opened his eyes. A stone ceiling greeted him. He sat up and observed his surroundings. He was dressed in nothing but a pair of tan trousers. The bed that he was lying on had scarlet covers and was made of mahogany, with the royal seal of Sank carved on it. There was a stone fireplace on his right, and some bookcases in front of him. Heero smiled. He would enjoy reading those books. Then turned his head. On his left, there was a door, ad on the right of the door was a large, reclining, brown leather seat. 'I guess that for reading the books.' he thought. Then he felt warmth emitting from something next to him. He closed his eyes and sighed. 'God, if I slept with some one, I'm gonna kill myself.' He turned his head and opened his eyes. It was Relena! 'Oh shit, what did I do? I can't remember anything!' Suddenly, Relena's eyes flickered open and saw Heero. 'Oh my God! He's awake. Perfect time for me to wake up realizing that I had crawled into bed next to him because I was tired.' After the light had flickered away, she carried Heero's body back to the castle. Her father was furious and ordered her up to her room. She was tired and agreed. But not before she had Heero brought up to her tower. She let Heero use her bed while she slept on the recliner. The king had argued that it was improper for a man to sleep in the same room as her, but she held firm and roared back at her father. The queen fought on her behalf and before long, the king was nothing but a blubbering mess that kept throwing dark looks her way. She took care of Heero every day for the twelve days he was asleep. But after the sixth day, she decided that the recliner wasn't comfortable to sleep on and decided to crawl into bed with Heero. Even though she knew it wasn't proper, it felt so right to her. She was afraid at first, but she remembered that it was Heero next to her. Smiling contently, she soon fell asleep. Ever since that day, she always slept with Heero. She like the feeling that Heero was next to her and longed for the day when it would be proper to sleep next to her in the same bed. 'Of course, on that day, I would be doing other things other than sleeping.' She chuckled. "What's so funny?" That startled her out of her deep thoughts. She turned her head and saw that Heero was on the floor, curled up into a ball with his head on his knees. "What's wrong Heero?" "We were sleeping in the same bed, it's improper for you to sleep with a man unless you're married to him." She chuckled again. "It's alright, no one knows." He raised his head and stared. "But you're a princess! I can't let you sleep with me! I know that I would like you to, but it's just that I don't feel right." She reached over and grabbed his arm, pulling his reluctant body up onto the bed with her. "Are you still unhappy? Yes? I can fix that really quick." Relena made Heero lie down on the bed and close his eyes. Then she laid herself on top of him and started to kiss his face. His eyes and his mouth opened wide in shock. Relena smiled. "All better now?" she asked. "I don't think we should do this." Relena shook her head and said, "Heero, loosen up, we won't do anything deep until we are married." "Married by a preist?" he asked. All she did was smile deviously and leaned in to kiss him again. 'Soon, Heero would be nothing but my love slave.' She smiled and chuckled evilly into Heero's mouth. 'I don't like the sound of that. I think she has some evil thoughts. Maybe she thinks that she could control me.' Thinking of all of this gave him the goose bumps and he promised to himself 'I will not let Relena seduce me into being her slave or whatever she had in mind for me. Five minuets later, he broke the promise.
Chapter 4
Dinner
Relena smiled to herself as she was carried safely down the tower steps in Heero's arms, followed by two stunned guards and six stunned maids. "I really appreciate you doing this for me Heero, usually it take me forever to get to the dining room and my legs are always getting tired out." She giggled. He glared at the face nestled into the crook of his arm. "How long do I have to be your slave again?" "As long as I want you to." "And why should I listen to you?" "Because you'll get a special reward from me if you do." "And what might that be." "You'll find out tonight." She smiled seductively. Heero felt his face heat up. "Ah..." King Peacecraft shot up out of his chair at the head of the dining table when she saw his daughter carried into the dining hall. "Relena! What is the meaning of this! Heero! Put my daughter down! She is not yours to manhandle!" Heero answered, "My king, this was not my idea. I am Relena's slave for a awhile. She ordered me carry her down the steps, my lord." "Why are you her slave then?" Heero blushed, " Because I was seduced by her feminine powers." He whispered. Then he glared at Relena. King Fredric Charles Peacecraft III was dumbfounded. "Say that again." he ordered shakily. "I was seduced by your daughte~Ahhg." Relena was amusing herself by licking Heero's earlobe. Now King Fredric Charles Peacecraft III and all the guards, ladies, and servants in the room were stunned. Just then, Queen Peacecraft entered the room and stared for a second, but then started to smile, then, unable hold it back, she laughed out loud until she ran out of air. Relena just smiled and continued with her ministrations. Heero was rather distracted and was moaning. The king and everybody else had their mouths open and staring at Relena and Heero. Relena stopped and whispered in Heero's ear, "Heero, you may put me down now." A little dazed, Heero put her down and she sat down in her seat. "Now Heero, you can be the pet dog I always wanted and kneel here." She pointed at the floor next to her seat. He obediently kneeled down, looking at her face questionably. "I think that we can start dinner now." That snapped everyone out of his or her trance. "Relena! How could you do this! You aren't even married to him yet!" "Relax father, we haven't gone that far yet." The king spluttered, "I forbid you to sleep in the same room with him. Who knows, you might just take the next step without my knowledge and without being married." "Ok, so would you let me marry Heero?" "Absolutely not!" Suddenly, the Queen broke in, "Of course you can! I will keep your overprotective father away from you and Heero. Why, I might even let you sleep with each other and get away with it!" The king, beet red from anger, yelled "NOT IF I CAN HELP IT." The queen turned to the king and smiled sweetly and said, "Now Fredric, do you remember when we were their age and were in love?" The king roared, "THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRESENT SITUATION!" "Dearie, remember when we slept together before we were married in you father's castle?" The king sputtered, "That was different, we were getting married!" "Dad? Did you really sleep with mom before you were married." The king turned red, this time from embarrassment. Relena smiled and looked down at Heero. "Heero," she whispered, "it seems like you might get your reward earlier than we thought." Heero tried to ignore the hardening bulge between his legs...
