Mysterious Floor Of Genting Highlands Resort
The story goes like this.. This guy Gavin was a special person when he was born, he was borned with the 'twilight eyes' as the chinese would call ( yam yong ngan ) This means he has the ability to see those who are already passed away, and he can even communicate by hinting those 'spooky' indirectly and he can even foresee accidents just moments before it happens, but there is a price to pay if he warns the person who are about to be hit by a coming accident, he will be hit by the accident who are about to come.. however the main story revolves around a trip to genting highlands. It was school holiday and Gavin and a group of friends went for trip to genting highlands for a few days.
When they first reached there, it was raining and all of them got slighty wet and some of them took their handkerchief out to wipe their wet hairs but one the girls wiped and found out that the handkerchief was red in colour after using it to wipe her hair, they all asked her whether she got her hair dyed or done with some colourings or not Ivy said she never got her hair with any colours or dye but then they all just forget it and think it was nothing there and so they've continued with their walk to their apartments. There is a special 'routine' or whatever it is when you are going to enter a new hotel or apartment room especially at locations which are famous of hauntings like here, you have to knock the door three times and say "we're coming in to stay" it's to hint the 'spooky' who resides inside the unit as it might be. It's belived to tell the 'spooky' that they come in peace not to harm and they also wanted peace as well, but sadly some of those girls didn't follow what Gavin says and rushed in while laughing and throwing their baggage around the apartment, as Gavin was thinking he was afraid that they might have offended the 'spooky' inside so he was just preparing for whatever that might happens...
After a while Ivy decided to challenge Gavin for a guts test by walking through the legendary haunted and sealed level 14 'special' unit or whatever because they were just located underneath it as they assume, as for there is nothing to fear for Gavin has met more than he can tell of those 'spooky' he doesn't mind going with her alone on the stairs to the floor above as he is afraid she just might got into trouble with those 'spooky' but Gavin has undergone a special ritual to 'seal' his twilight eyes so it wouldn't disturb him anymore a few years ago but still he could 'feel' those 'spooky' around the floor which really haunted as it was being claimed. As soon as they both go up the stairs they go into the hallway of the 'haunted' floor and walking in the eerie and silent hallway but suddenly an unexpected surprise was on the floor for them.. a pool of blood suddenly appeared on the path they're walking and Ivy carelessly stepped on it but Gavin seems to be 'spared' from this. She thinks it was nothing since she don't belive these stuffs and it was something else but the blood on her shoe sole seems to print all the way she walked but it disappear when they went back to the floor below.
Gavin begin to feel something bad about this, by then they all wanted to roam around the apartment and they all packed into the lift and wanted to head for the 'haunted' floor and suddenly the lift stooped at a unknown floor and it's door opened to reveal a total darkness ahead nothing can be seen in it, they all just say maybe it's a electrical failure so they just do nothing but stare into the darkness hiding their fears, but still they challenge the 'spooky' ones, and Gavin tell the 'spooky' to prove to them that he is present there and instantly the door opens and close twice, but still they don't belive so suddenly the door begin to open and close again without stopping until Gavin 'tell' those 'spooky' it's enough to show them already and the door closed and the lift went down again. Much shocked of this incident they all tell Gavin to help them since they're very afraid now, Gavin gave them some special charm to protect them from those 'spooky' who are harmful it's called 'Fu' in chinese.
Later when they all went back to their apartment Ivy said she was tired and wanted to sleep, Gavin had bad feeling about it, and he decided to check her out, when he went to the room she was suddenly looking very bad and pale and she was already halfway out on the window to climb to jump but when she saw Gavin she just say that she wanted some fresh air then Gavin just left her alone and tell two of the guys with them to help him, by putting some of those charm (Fu) in a few pillows and gave it to her but she refused and acted strangely, she push away the pillows which had charms in it with a pillow without the charm and so those guys confirmed she was being taken over by a ghost which we chinese saying "Kuai Siong San" they had no choice when she asked Gavin and the guys to leave her alone to sleep. But Gavin told them instead to take his charm on cloth ( Pou Fu ) and cover her face with it to 'exorcise' or cast the 'spooky' away, when these guy's charged into the room they was shocked to find out she was already 'floating' and when they all tried to grab her she just lifted the whole heavy hotel 'tilam' or the bed by one hand with ease swooping it towards them and banging them down, as soon as they pushed away the heavy bed they grabbed her and push her down and Gavin immediately cover her face with the cloth charm, she was shivering and trembling all over but after that they wake her up and she remember nothing of what happened to her and three kept this secret and don't want to spread out the news.
After all they continued their trip while watching each others safety and this story was told to me after years of the trip since the trip was during the 96' holidays. Still there more of my real experience and Gavin's real experience that i will send in soon... and the word ghost was replaced by spooky because i don't want to offend anyone who might read this. After all just don't be going against the 'pantang larang' or the rules regarding the 'spooky' you just might live more happier and longer...
