Friends

There are a lot of people who I consider my Friends. There is no way that I could ever name and describe them all on this page, so I'm just going to do what I can. Don't be offended if I don't list you, it's not a big thing really, just tell me, I probably had already planned to.

ME! I guess I'll start by saying who i am...hey, I'm my friend :) I am a senior at SHS and plan on attending GSU in the fall as a theatre major. I love drama, I like to be on stage, but stage managing and directing is a blast as well. I love my friends, and they keep me sane. My motto of the year "just keep smiling".

Christy Barnes- I love you Christy! You are still one of my best friends, and I am going to miss you so much next year. Christy is a senior at SHS with me. We have 4 classes together and we sit beside eachother in all of them. Don't ask her about cummulative frequency. She's also really really talented. She plays clarinet and is first chair in the top band at school. She's a great writer and she gets good grades. We argue sometimes, mostly cause she knows i'm right :) Just kidding of course. But really, I couldn't go to school without her.

Chris Hunt- You have managed to move up on this list....considering what time of day i'm typing this, I'm surprised you weren't first. Chris is a sophmore at GA Tech. A computer science major, he's really good at all that stuff....(I call it "stuff" because I can't pronounce most of it.) Did you know there is actually a book called "Q is for Quantum"? There is. Anyways, I met Chris in England. He was a chaperone for the trip with Monticello. It was quite posssibly the best week of my life, not that Chris had anything to do with that. Chris was in high school once, and he was a drama nerd...like me....and he did Extemp..funny enough. So, a hundred and fifty inside jokes later, there is Chris. I still believe Mr.Cooper had it right, "Whatever you do...." and after all "everyone that matters understands"

click for*PICTURE* Rory Powell- How'd you get so far up this list dork? Just kidding...you know you're always somewhere near the top. Rory is one of my closest friends. He's definetely unique. I've known Rory since 9th grade and we have a very complex history. He owns chickens...live chickens...yes....he also eats chicken, but not the ones he owns. Rory is a senior at SHS and he too is in that crazy band group. He's first chair trumpet in the top band and he plays like every instrument. Rory and I did "date" or whatever at one time or another (or three times or another), but I think we do better as friends...it's so much more stable. Plus, He's got a great girlfriend, Meagan, and their pretty good together. :) There's a lot of jokes...hm....AP Gov, 2 sprees, and a few stuffed M&M's...lol. I want you to know, Meagan still scarred me with the pickle incident...Does anyone else remember that?

Rina Bala- Here ya go Rina! Rina is another friend from GA Tech. She is also a computer science major. She is originally from India and came here not that long ago. The fact that I've never actually met Rina really doesn't matter, she's still my friend right? She's been so sweet to me and listened to me ramble (which any of you on here should know is not always fun). I love Rina!

Lee Burt- Hey Lee, are we going to take ballroom dancing? Lee is a senior at HCHS. I know him from the church I used to go through, and through mutual friends. Lee is a drama nerd, like me. He is also crazy like me...in fact, Lee is a lot like me, only he's a boy. (I'm not). So Lee is cool. He has a rabbit, named Harvey. So Lee, where is that book of lists...I'm curious. :)

Ms.Bell- Hi Ms.Bell, I promise i won't argue about the blocking for Scraps (but i don't promise not to make faces ) :). Okay, Ms.Bell has been my theatre teacher since 10th grade. She is the best teacher I have ever had, and has also become my good friend. I am not sure what I am going to do next year, but I suppose it's too early to have my yearly nervous breakdown. (you think I'm kidding don't you?) Anyways, Ms.Bell has done so much for me and I don't know how I'll ever thank her for that. Ms.Bell, did you know that in some places in England, the beds are actually on wheels?

Frank W. Wright- You knowdear, I think I could really get into that music. Frank is most assuredly, one of the most talented actors I have ever known. He's also one of the only people who has treated me like a person, with a brain, since I've known him. I met Frank when he was a senior and I was a freshman at SHS. A lot has changed since then, but enough to say that he is still someone who means a whole heck of a lot to me (not to mention he commonly refers to me as his daughter). He works at the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts, and also at Dad's Garage. He's currently planning a major move to California...which will give me yet another excuse to visit the ever entertaining West coast. I will miss him, but I know he'll love it. I love you Frank! You've had a bigger impact on my life than you know. (And one day, i may take you up on your "leg-breaking" offer.)

Brandon Vaughn- Brandon is crazy. Okay, so he's not as crazy as I am...but he's close. He's a complete computer nerd, and he knows i mean that in the nicest way :) I've known Brandon since just before 9th grade. We had geometry together freshman year, and I was just as bad at math then. He's got a cool web site. If you want to go see it, click on his name! Okay...he makes robots and designs web pages (if you watch the video, there's a pic of me!) We annoy each other sometimes, but it's all part of a good friendship. He's going to Valdosta in the fall then transfering to Tech for junior and senior year.

Tim Elrod- Hi Tim. Did you have fun skiing? I haven't talked to you since! Anywho, Tim is another friend from school. He is a junior at SHS and our mom's work together. Tim, like Christy, is way talented. He plays percussion in the top band at school and he also plays drums for a Christian Band in his spare time. Tim is very sweet and a very strong Christian person for whom I have a lot of respect. Currently he is dating/going out with (not sure of correct term) Shannon who i don't know well, but seems really great. Tim, You're a trip...(and there was that one time with the coconut lotion)

Matt Hankins- Matt, you are truly a gentleman... however, i still stand by my theory (and Rory's) that not all human cells taste alike. Matt is another senior at SHS. He is in the band and plays second chair trumpet (right next to Rory). He is the drum major for marching band as well. Matt is the sweetest guy ever. He is dating a younger girl, Beka, who I dont' know well, but seems pretty cool. Matt, don't every change for anyone except yourself. (And help me keep Christy under control for the next few years!)

Tim Blount- Tim, maybe you shouldn't comment on my shoes anymore :) Tim is crazy. Or atleast a little unique. He's also very very very talented, he could go to college anywhere...like Julliard, or any of the conservatory schools he wants. He plays french horn, and I think he plays a lot of other things too...but the horn is the big one. He's first chair in the top band, which is funny because he's dating the second chair, Sarah Coffey who is also very talented! They are so cute...i wouldn't have guessed, but hey, you never can tell. Tim is so much fun, and he has a great heart (once you get past the raw sarcasm :) )

Joey Poisson- Joey, you really should have more control...look at your pants. haha...okay...that actually is the only funny thing that sounds worse than it is rather than vice versa! Okay, Joey is.....Joey is.....um...Joey! Quite possibly the only guy i know who can be SO perverted and yet still be funny and even acceptable! Joey is actually a really great guy, and he still hasn't come up with anything for crushed crackers. He's got a great heart and he shares his water with me. He's also in 9th grade PE and health...which is funny, cause he's a senior at SHS. Also in band, a talented trumpet player. Joey will have to take sex-ed this year (as he informed us today)... it could be funny. And yes Joey, I will continue to eat hot dogs and bananas even if you stare at me the whole time.

Kelly Price- Once, at a Savage Garden concert we met these guys.... haha. Okay, Kelly is a senior at SHS. SHe's a clarinet player in the band. I've known her since ninth grade when we rode the same bus (aww). We have been friends ever since. Kelly lives all of like, 2 seconds from me (1/2 mile) and yet, we only ever see eachother at school...even when we say "we should do something" we don't. It's a mystery, seriously. Kelly has been such an incredible and loyal friend. This year, we're both ditching prom (go us) and doing something better. (who knows what, but it'll be better :) )

Paige Kirby- Paigey Waigey. You are learning so fast! Hey, you even came up with cummulative frequency (for Christy of course). Paige is a senior at SHS...she's in band, but also in drama [gasp]. Paige is funny and she gives me crackers. (today she brought me a whole bag of ritz and oyster crackers!). She puts up with a lot from me...cause I can be grouchy. So Paige, did you know.....

Shena Duncan- So what's the story with the new house again? I love you Shena, I can tell you anything, I can tell you nothing...it doesn't matter, it's the facial expressions that count right? I say, "well, and...well, then...you know" and somehow, we've had an entire conversation (and that's a pretty detailed one!) Intonation is everything. Shena is in my drama class, and she sits behind me. We are the ones that Ms.Bell comes over and worries about...but i swear, we are non-corruptive to anyone (except maybe Paigey). Shena is a junior at SHS. And you're still the only one who understands what I'm saying, even with half a lemon in my mouth... (I'm not sure why exactly....okay, well, I'll pretend I'm not sure)

Margaret McCulley- I love your prom dress :) Margaret and I have been friends since 10th grade. She is a senior like me at SHS (YAY). She is one of the most loving people i know, and one of my only friends who tells me they love me nearly every day :). She is truly there when i need her. Thank-you for everything...

Greg Yeager- Greg and I have known each other since just before 9th grade. We were friends then and have remained friends. We were an official couple from July '00 to January '02. It was a good relationship with many good memories. We remain friends. Greg is a senior at SHS and is in my Government/Economics class. He plans on attending Tech in the fall.

Christie Easterwood- Yes, you can take my food. Christie is one of the most talented actresses I know, or will ever know. She is going to be famous, and when she is, I've got 100 autographed scripts to sell (you think I'm kidding again, don't you?) Ever since 10th grade, Christie has found it necesary to sign like every script i have, It's alright, we'll both be rich some day. Seriously though, Christie is great. She is never going to beat around the bush, and though we have our moments, in the end we can both get over almost anything. This year, I can't promise i won't be anal before a show, but hey, i'll try okay?
