Name: Lory
The Riff Randals played a super fun Show on July 9th (the day after my birthday)at the Distillery. We played with "Army of Trees" who really impressed me with their talent and energy, "Sunshine Smile", and a little band called "Shark Sandwich".
Army of Trees played first. I haven't seen them in a few years. They really wowed me with their stuff. They get an A+ for improvement!
Shark Sandwich played second. This is my side project. Me and a couple guys from the suburbs have created the perfect Hardcore band. No, really...you'll see.
Riff Randals played next. We knocked their asses right through their socks! Especially when we played our metal version of Ugly Girl. Great fun!
By the time Sunshine Smile played, I was super drunk, so of course, I made a fool of myself telling the band to play more songs. Sunshine Smile rarely plays anymore, so I soak up as much of their rockness as I can.
Kortnee made me a SG guitar cake.
I had a rad birthday show, thanks to all my friends who came that night
