Me! Quick Thoughts
September 22nd:    There's not a whole lot going on at the moment... I'm eating oatmeal (strawberries & cream!) and drinking coffee (cream & sugar), well aware that I should be getting ready for work instead of typing this up right now. *sigh*
Went and saw Underworld last night--it's about what I expected it to be. Mostly eye-candy, and loud, loud noise. Some of the plot was interesting, though I wish that they'd gone into their history a bit more. It would have been more interesting for me than, say, watching someone squeeze off a few shots on a gun that shoots bullets loaded with UV. Yeah.

WAP:    As you've probably heard... quite a few people have been starting up these WAP pages, that let's you make simple pages to be viewed on a WAP phone (just type the URL into your phone's browser). Here are a few--first one being mine:

         http://www.tagtag.com/oph9
         http://www.tagtag.com/ellis
         http://www.tagtag.com/pitches
         http://www.tagtag.com/kellysue
         http://www.tagtag.com/stelpa
         http://www.tagtag.com/shaviro
         http://www.tagtag.com/margoeve
         http://www.tagtag.com/genjo

Good thing to know: If you type the above addresses into your PC (or any non-WAP thingamabob), you'll just be redirected to TagTag's main page.

The Human Face of TB

"Despite eight million new cases of TB being reported annually – and two million deaths a year – the report reveals the many misconceptions people have about the disease and how this ignorance is reflected in the misery of those infected with TB across the world.

'The images are disturbing,' said Colors editor-in-chief Renzo di Renzo, 'but in fact they give just a mere glimpse of the enormous challenges faced every day by TB health care workers.'"
