Rose Bed Four is also along the south of the garden and is edged in lavender. Roses in this bed are: Larry Daniels, Spencer, La Reine, La Belle Sultane, Mystery San Jose, Frau Karl Druschki, Champney's Pink Cluster, Lady Banks, and Chapeau de Napoleon. | |||

This bed is shared with alliums, daylilies, perilla, and lamb's ears. Instead of digging and ammending this bed, I tried sheet composting. Problem was, I skipped the paper and the leaves were not enough to smother the wire grass beneath. This has created quite a weeding problem. | |||||
