Casa Facade, April 2002 Welcome to Casa Rosa!

This is our 1930’s Spanish stucco house which we lovingly restored. The house is rock-solid and all concrete—the walls, the stucco, the floors, even the roof tiles.

The house has two bedrooms, and a third bedroom/office/playroom which was a porch that we enclosed with custom arched windows with safety glass in the lower half. There is one bath upstairs and a shower and stone sink in the basement, a kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also a three-quarter basement, rear screened in porch, and a covered front entrance or arcade, all of which extend the living space quite a bit.

Casa Facade, Before When we purchased the house in early spring 2000, it had been vacant for several years. The previous owner’s health problems kept him from maintaining the house. The result was years of damage and neglect leaving a shabby shell of an otherwise charming home. It really took some vision to see past the decay…
Property Plan

The house is surrounded by 2 acres with the optimum mix of sun and shade provided by majestic oaks. The shady side is dominated by a woodland featuring a spring fed pebbled creek.

The centerpiece of the sunny side is the rose garden and potager. All the gardens in the sunny areas are rich in old garden roses.

So come on in and join us for a House and Garden Tour.
