Dear Fox Executives:
I would like to express my extreme disappointment and sadness at your pending cancellation of the primetime television show “The American Embassy”. I find myself severely frustrated and unsure that your network now has any television programs that I would consider worth watching. I strongly believe that your choice in canceling “The American Embassy” is both premature and unwise. It is too early to even know the full extent of your fan base after 3 or 4 episodes, despite what ratings may tell you.
At this point in time, I have chosen to refrain from watching your network because frankly you now have no programming that interests me even in the slightest. It is sad that you would go and cancel a show that has such great potential for growth and a great number of fans.
I have joined an effort to try and sway your decision to put “The American Embassy” back on the air and currently we have a petition on PetitionOnline as well as a fan forum, message boards, fan sites, and we are working to establish a webring and postcard campaign. All of these efforts are by the fans of “The American Embassy” so we are out there and very much upset with your network’s decision to cancel this lovely show.
I along with my fellow fans will continue to send letters, postcards, money, and whatever time I can contribute to the cause of saving this wonderful show. I remain a loyal and devoted fan to the restoration of the show “The American Embassy.”
Thank you for reading this letter and please at least consider its contents and know that fans do exist and are very much in support of this show.
Sincerely a loyal AE fan,
