Take the cigar, wet it then make a slice with a sharp knife or razorblade along the side as shown. (It's probably better to wet the cigar with your tounge, water, or whatever wet it slightly so the wrapper is not to brittle and remains easy to work with)

Anyhow, after slicing the thing, carefully remove all the tabacco out of it. This is why you wet it slightly so the wrapper is not to brittle.
