(Holly is on her way out of the hospital, Patrick sees her about to go)

Patrick: (runs over to her) Holly, slow down! I don't wanna chase you through the car park!

Holly: I'm just gonna go, okay Patrick?

Patrick: No you don't

Holly: (looks him in the face) Excuse me?

Patrick: (wondering how to say it) Do you wanna go for a drink or something . . .it's just . . .I think, I think it's time we talked!

Holly: Look, if this is about Tom Harvey then I really don't . . .

Patrick: (interrupts and shouts) No! (calms down a little) No, look . . .I'm sorry. I know I acted funny about the whole thing . . . and I just wanted to say . .I'm sorry

Holly: Yeah, forget it okay? (walks off)

Patrick: Oh! You just can't make this easy for me, can you (grabs her arm) eh! I didn't handle it very well, okay . . .I just couldn't stand the though of . . .of what he was trying to do to you (she stirs uncomfortably) I wanted to kill him, if I'd of been there, I would have killed him.

Holly: Well, coming on all macho wouldn't have . .

Patrick: (interrupts) And it was becasue of you!

Holly: Look, he shouldn't have done that to anyone!

Patrick: Holly! It was because of you! (grabs hold of her shoulders) do you not understand what I'm trying to say to you?

Holly: (nods her head, looking at the floor, she looks up at him) Apology accepted (he looks disappointed but leaves it at that) Goodnight Patrick (walks off)

Patrick: (to himself) Turn around Holly (watches her go) Going . .going . . .(she pushes the door open) Gone! (he turns around and walks back to A+E, just as she turns her head, and watches him walk away from her.)
