Holly walked into the staff room, looking a bit lost. Barney wonders in and goes over to her. He makes his appearance known by placing a hand on her shoulder.

Barney: Hey Holly, I heard what you did

Holly: Oh, don't remind me

Barney: You've gotta do what you thinks right at the time

Holly: Do you?

Barney: Aye . . .even if it doesn't turn out the way you planned.

(she turns her head and smiles at him. He walks out as Patrick walks in. He goes over to he hand puts his hand on her shoulder).

Patrick: Just heard . . .giving yourself a hard time?

Holly: (smiles) Yeah

Patrick: (gently) It's easy with that insight

Holly: She pushed me into the road, (Patrick opulls her hair off her face to look at the cut from the RTA) and Gemma got in the way. I couldn't move, I should have done something.

Patrick: Oh well, situation like that, everyone freezes

Holly: (turns around to face him) She attacked me . .and Gemma got in the way . . .because, because she was trying to protect me. This kid was trying to protect me . . .everyone thinks I saved her life . . . and I didn't, I'm the reason she got hurt (starts to cry)

Patrick: Your the reason Gemma's still alive (Holly rolls her eyes)

Holly: I just lied to her (sighs) I lied, I told her everything was going to be okay . . .I promised . . . and the truth is her family's been broken up, and Joanne's going to go to prison, the kids'll end up in foster care . . . it'll all the things they didn't want . . . and it's all thanks to me.

Patrick: You saved a kids life. You know there are hundreds of people that know . .that see, people beating up and abusing the kids, and just look the other way, pretend it's not happening.

Holly: (interrupts) I couldn't do that!

Patrick: I know! But you can't do it all by yourself (sighs) Come here (takes her in his arms) That doesn't stop you being the best SHO in this room.

Holly: (pulls away and looks around the room) I'm the only SHO in this room.

Patrick: Don't beat yourself up over this, ther are a lot more serious things wrong with you that you need to sort out (She manages to laugh, and he smiles at her)

Holly:(smiles)I . .I really do hate you, you know?

Patrick: (nods smiling) I know (She nods her head, and he pulls her back into a hug) And it means a lot to me
