TARA
Tara
is a very powerful witch that Willow met through her Wiccan group.
Although Willow and Tara fell in love and were happy, Willow kept her
relationship with Tara a secret. Tara hadn't met anyone in the Scooby Gang
until she met Buffy and discovered that Buffy, wasn't Buffy at all - she was
really Faith. She helped Willow conjure the Katra needed to switch the two
back into their respective bodies.
Tara was finally faced with her relationship with Willow when Oz returned to
Sunnydale, with the ability to control the wolf and be all that Willow needed.
Tara was willing to let go of Willow so that she could be happy with Oz.
Willow chose Tara over Oz and was accepted into the Scooby gang. Tara's
family came to UC Sunnydale to take her home to control her demon side, but
Spike brought the family legend to light when he hit Tara and felt pain, proving
that she was no demon.
Tara and Willow have become inseparable, and their joined magical forces continue to
expand.
