Summer Memories

3 of the greatest summers that I have had so far were spent on Bear Island at Camp Nokomis in New Hampshire. It's been awhile since I was there but the memories are forever with me and I will NEVER forget them! I went 3rd session ('94) and 3rd and 4th ('95 and '96 ) In '94 I was in Cabin #5 with Shannon O'Reily and Alison Smith. In '95 I was in cabin 3 with Jen Segal and Cindy Mower (and of course Paige and Hendrix) and the last year I was there I was in Cabin 2 with Marrissa Tomasic and Julie Heather. Those were the days and I wish so badly I could return! I miss it a lot. Following are some random memories from those summers.

stranding the soccer team at Camp Larry (I SWEAR Alex, it was an accident! Why don't you believe me? Just cause there are BOYS there .....:))...... losing my hearing aids in Cabin 2 (Either a racoon ate them or we have some Borrowers.....).......... Huck Finn........ "Praise the Lord!"........ falling out of the canoe....... Paddle Wars!........ jumping off the maildock...... Paige's strange fixtation for my bunk ...... "Will you take me home with you?"...... "Urrrm...Julie why did you ask Marrissa for a condom?"..... "Didn't you know? Doing drugs is a Noko No-No"........ The Liverwurst is 232 days old! (but that big hunk of liverwurst has been there since October 1st and today is the 21st of May.......... CIT Fairs (Elvis's birthday and Star Wars)......... Paige and Hendrix......... Julie the Squirral Killer!........ and of course we can't forget.....(evil grin) ....... The Squriall Killer Revenge Plot! ("involing a small effigy of Jules a bob "...... Nokolympics........... Soccor Cricket...... The kitty rescues from Karen and Gretta's dog....... "Hey Babe!" ......... Jules-a-bob........ Soccor tournys (hey Alex, I have to go to the bathroom!"............. I survived a Camp Larry bathroom............ Foamman......... Torrie, quit reading the paper and use it for mache instead!........ Marissa and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamdress...... The "I hid out in the boathouse and am going to spend the winter at camp" Society...... The Stick......... Shaving parties. ( "Someone call Stoney! Torrie needs a transfusion!")........ Graceland ........... country line dancing.........Oatmeal wrestling....."Megan I think she's missing her boyfriend a LITTLE too much" .......Erica and Robin ending up at Camp Larry (sure it was an accident! :)...."You're going to have to drag me kicking and screaming out of here...I MEAN IT!" .and always in the background is an Indigo Girls song playing.... "I don't wanna go home, I'm a Camp Nokomis kid!"........
