The Wish is about Wilma Sturtz. Wilma is not exactly popular. She is constantly teased or, worse yet, ignored. Until she meets an old woman on a bus. She gives the woman her seat and the woman gives her a wish. Wilma wishes to be the most popular kid at her school, Claverford Middle School. Suddenly, Wilma is friends with the most popular kids in her school, she has 40 dates for the Claverford Grad Night Dance, and everyone seems that they once ignored and teased Wilma. But one day, Wilma discovers that only people that go to Claverford are affected by her wish! Will her popularity last into high school?
