The Thorn Doll
Dum-dum-dum-snap, snap, snap
Dum-dum-dum-snap, snap, snap
They're creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky
They're all together ooky
The Addams Family dolls. Mattel made Morticia and Gomez Addams dolls in the year 2000. Based on the famous comic strip, black & white TV show, live action movies, and now broadway musical. The Addams Family are one of the original mainstream gothic families. I think Morticia would make a fabulous Thorn. Unfortunately, buying her would cost a pretty penny- over $100 at least!
Fun Fact: The Addams Family appeared on The New Scooby Doo Movies way back in the '70s!
Hard Rockers- The Dusk & Luna Dolls
The Hard Rock Cafe puts out a new custom Barbie every year. Dusk is the 2008 HRC:B and Luna is the 2007 HRC:B. Though I think HRC:B 2007 would make a fabulous Angel Dynamite doll. Don't you agree, sugar? You have to love Dusk's goth look, rocker accessories, and blond with black fringe hair, fits very well with her 2010 look. Hard Rock Cafe:"Dusk" costs $70.00 and Hard Rock Cafe:"Luna" costs $145.88! Start saying your pennies now!
Dusk- The Boo-tiful Petrified Bride
Mattel puts out a new Halloween themed Barbie every year, most are dressed as witches in black and pink. I happened to search out this version of Boo-tiful Bride Barbie. She costs $37.99!. But if you really want to recreate "The Petrified Bride" video in your own home....
I've just added a second page of Hex Doll recommendations. You have to go to the Arcade page to get to the link! Play a few games while you're over there! Chillax!
Here's a tribute to my new favorite klutz: Frankie Stein as Lady Boo-Boo doing "Accident Prone". Maybe Frankie should just go somewhere and sit down. Cause dancing ain't for everybody!
Here's The Ghouls of Monster High as Hex Girls. No doubt their favorite band! Shake what your momma gave you!!!!
Here's "The Monster High Fright Song" from the new website www.monsterhigh.com. It stars the daughters of the classic Universal Movie Monsters as they enter high school. Mattel seems to be taking the charge in making goth girls' toys. Warner Brothers better wise up! Everybody do The Monster Mash, The Frankie-Stein, The Swim, Walk Like An Egyptian like the ghoul kids do!
Monster High seems to be a throwback to '80s shows like Beverly Hills Teens. Mattel should make an entire series about it. Only have the permise be that the Monsters are fighting they're bad reputation as monsters against either evil villians or the living world. It should still have it's comedic elements, but have a larger plot too.
Clawdeen wishes the world were Cleo & Deuce free. Here's her version of "Speidi Free". Can't we all just get along?
