My first time coloring with Adobe Photoshop. I really could use some tips.
Here's the mysterious mage from my Kingdom Hearts fic. (Hey, I can bend the rules if I wanna!) Just cleaned it up a bit and made the image sharper using Photoshop.
This is the first sketch I sent to Rook. The main characters of my other Digimon fic, Spirit, Sleeping Somewhere Cold. Everyone's favorite angsty, fun-to-torture Chosen Child, and my very own Mitori.
This took me forever to get up! The scanner was acting crazy and there were too many interuptions! Anyway, I'm hoping to come back and color this, but this'll do for now. I needed darker work up. So, you like?
Riku! Woo! This is how he appears in Eclipse Realm. I guess I should have made some lines darker and paid more attention when I was shading in the outfit, but I was a little distracted from stuff happening at school. I think it still looks okay. Darkness has never looked so good!
Finally, an actual Digimon in a pic! Here's the first appearance of Natakumon, even if it's only part of her. I think Komoku looks a little too old... Actually, a lot of things in this pic are sloppy, since I was half awake when I was finishing it. But as long as it doesn't show...
Guess who just got some Prismacolor? Now I'll send in more stuff in color, starting with this! Someone thought this was a holiday pic... It's not supposed to be... I may do a small series of the CCs with costumes based on their Digimon. The first is Mitori and Shimamon. I still have a long way to go before I master those pencils. I don't get how those eyes turned out grey...
Been a while, but I've finally gotten my home computer to work with me! Now, I can upload whatever I want. Unfortunately, I don't quite have the skills to color with the program I have, so full color pics will have to wait. In the meantime, enjoy the sketches! I've been experimenting, trying to get a balance between styles like CLAMP and Pita-ten. But I couldn't forget the Digimon! Shimamon down there is mad because I didn't feel like drawing her!
This is the first pic I colored fully on my home computer... and quite messily at that. A little gift at the beginning of the new year for lack of productivity.
I wanted at least one wintry pic, and this was the result. Quite fitting too, since I had snow as late as April where I live.
I'm taking a college art course right now in school, and this is one of the artworks I completed for a summer assignment. I think it's pretty good considering I spent a whole afternoon and sleepless night on it. Inking by hand is a pain, you know! The character is a young Jophiel, and while she's originally for a Final Fantasy VII fic I've been planning for a few years, her much older self has just made an appearance in my Kingdom Hearts fic.
This is the new character who made her debut in my 2004 winter ficlet "Something Precious". Rather... pink for me, huh? Renge is unique in that she isn't moody or angsty like my other characters. She's pretty much happy and optimistic.
