Devidramon has always been one of my favorite Digimon, and he, along with Gargoylemon and BlackTailmon (BlackGatomon), is one my favorite beast type Digimon. His physical desing in both eerie and kick ass. I especially love how he is portrayed in Digimon Adventure as the Guardian of the Gate connecting the Digital World to the real world. Also in Digimon Adventure Devidramon is capable of turning to stone. I find that concept to be fuckin awesome and I have sort of adapted that attribute to other Demon Digimon. Devidramon's demonic looks and brutal fighting skills will always make him an appealing Digimon in my book. Referred to as a muti-eyed demon with blood drenched claws, Devidramon has surpassed the ranks of many higher level Digimon in terms of strength and aggressiveness. His physical form with glowing red eyes, crimson razor sharp talons, and gristly demon wings instills fear while his keen senses and excellent fighting skills justifies that fear. Devidramon is a demon dragon Digimon, and is often a minion to higher ranking evil Digimon. In Digimon Adventure Myotismon had Devidramon pull his flying carriage. Also in Adventure, Devidramon served as the guardian of the gate, which connected the Digital World to the real world, within Myostimon's castle. The Devidramon were placed as stone statues around the gate and were awakened by Gatomon's tail ring. This ability to turn into stone could have been afford to them by Myotismon, or it could be a natural ability. Many of the demon Digimon are able to manipulate solid matter for their advantage, which leads me to believe that Devidramon too would possess a similar ability to manipulate his own data. Whether or not turning into stone is a natural ability or not is never proven. In Zero Two Devidramon once again serves as a steed, only this time it is for the Digimon Kaiser (Digimon Emperor). In Tamers Devidramon shows us the true extent of his fighting ability as he takes on Growlmon. This battle along with the one in Digimon Adventure shows us that Devidramon is excellent with hand to hand combat and quick maneuvering. Though, Devidramon was merely an underling in all of his appearances do not doubt his abilities. This demonic dragon is a true minion of darkness and a horrific force to be reckoned with. | |
