my snakes:

about 7 years ago i started with 5 young ratsnakes(elaphe guttata guttata)they are the perfect snakes for beginners.but......when you have never hold snakes before it's very scary(lol) my hands were very sweaty;-)but now 7 years later i only like large snakes like boa's and pythons.

after buying and trading with several snakes my interrest went to the larger snakes(before that we had a lot of different ratsnakes and kingsnakes)we also had the teaniura frisei(taiwanese ratsnake)and we had a lot of hatchlings from that couple.but last year the female died while she was given birth(it happens a lot with these snakes)and the man died about 9 months later.

because of my interrest for the larger snakes we've decided to go on with boa's the intention is to get some special coloured boa's in our collection.right now i have a very light coloured one and a very orange one.Hopefully next year between may and july we will have some hatchlings.

the collection we have right now is:

2 boa constrictor imperators( high orange)

3 dumerilli boa's

1 couple rainbow boa's

1elaphe guttata missing black(who belongs to my daughter)
