7 Mexicans in a Van was started by frontmen James "Santiago" Zamarripa and Joseph "J.D." Griggs, doing an assignment during their Tech System class. Original members were #1-Santiago-vocals #2-J.D.-drums #3-Mo-guitar #4-Maggot-guitar #5-Renched-bass #6-Mingo-custom percussion #7-Steve-bong-os They later cut Maggot and attained Sparky. A little while down the road Mingo and Steve were kicked out for no apparent reason. Maggot was then asked to be back in the band, this time as a keyboard player. A long while down the road James decided that in the best interest of the band he would have to revamp the entire line-up. As of right now MO is the only former member on and the debate of another is being debated. This was done to actually realize their dream and possibly rank among the best bands in the world. Although this band has no album or demo, but nonetheless has decided that to further pursue their goals would mean to sacrifice their time and with relentless effort make their band into one of the forefront bands in the nation. -James
