To really understand this fanfic- download the clip of Gackt on Domoto Bro's show where he role-plays a kiss with Tsuyoshi Domoto. This is an AU based on that video- I own nothing *sob sob* Not gaku, not Luna Sea or the Domoto Brothers....this life is so unfair!

'I need you and I miss you and I wonder, If I could fall into the sky, Do you think time would pass me by? Cos you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you tonight.'

Camui smiled thinly as the opening themes of Domoto Kyudai blasted round the small studio, a wave of cheering and clapping rose up from the audience and some even left their seats to bop to the music. The gaudy set was alive with brightly coloured lights and several of the guests had snuck on stage early to give an impromptu karaoke concert for the excited crowd.

Ryuichi gave Gackt a cheery wave and carried on serenading the screaming girls in the first row, who hung on his every word. The solemn singer barely had to even think about the next subtle movement of his fingers of the keys as he played, swaying almost imperceptibly to the beat. The other band members were getting into the sunny spirit as usual, but Gackt remained a silent, faintly smiling and definatly solitary figure.

Finally the last note faded and Tsuyoshi Domoto came bursting onto the modest stage. His boyish face was split with a wide grin and he tromped across to his stool, calling out cheerful greetings to the audience. Camui took this distraction to make his way to his own seat, perching on the edge and crossing his legs elegantly, face angled away from the prying camera lenses.

Koichi was next to arrive- his entrance wasn't nearly as boisterous as Tsuyoshi's and as he welcomed the people at home and in the studio to the show Gackt was sure he could see a hint of colour rising to the younger man's cheeks. He wasn't surprised no one mistook Koichi and Tsuyoshi for brothers despite their common surname.

The show progressed without a hitch until Tsuyoshi announced another Karaoke round and with a typical confident smirk Ryuichi took the mic. He slid gracefully into the padded stool and cast a fleeting glance out to the sea of smiling faces.

"I'd like to dedicate this to someone I admire very much......you know who you are." He shot Camui an almost painfully obvious look and held the mic up to his lips, the first lines of a popular love song blossoming in the still air like Autumn fire-works. Gackt felt himself sink down in the back row, hiding behind Shinya's broad frame.

When the humiliation was finally over and Tsuyoshi had calmed the riotess applause for Ryuichi's ballad the next topic for discussion was announced. Camui heard a miniature squeal of delight from the pop idol sitting next to him. Her lip-gloss and sparkle encrusted face lit up and she whispered something conspiratorially to her band mate. As usual the perceptive Tsuyoshi turned round and gave her a winning smile, "So Yukie, What do you and Mitsuko have to say on the subject of first kisses?"

A chorus of tittering rose from both girls and the pig-tailed Mitsuko chirped, "We were just wondering if Gakuto-san kissed a princess his first time!"

The audience erupted with giggling and loud muttering, someone even yelled encouragement for Gackt to speak up. All eyes were suddenly on the be-suited man. He looked up nonchalantly and replied, "She was very special indeed.....a princess of sorts."

A loud awwwwwwwwww echoed round the room and the two teeny-boppers squeaked with delight.

"So, is this your technique Gakuto? Do you woo your girlfriends?" Tsuyoshi asked bluntly, leaning forward with forced interest, as the whole studio sat riveted.

Camui inclined his head alittle and let the smallest of smile sneak onto his lips, "If I like someone I seize the moment, just go up and kiss them ne?"

Gackt could have sworn from the corner of his eye he caught Ryuichi grinning, an idea surely planted in his scheming little mind and a second later his suspicions were validated.

"Why don't you demonstrate nee? Camui-san?? We'd all like to see you at work." He leered.

At the suggestion Yukie and Mitsuko both straightened their skirts, making a move to stand, and Ryiuchi pushed his stool back but Tsuyoshi's twisted sense of humour beat them all to the punch.

"Come on then, Gakuto and.....hmm...Koichi will you do the honours?" He leant back on his seat, grinning like a Cheshire cat and stared intently at his colleague.

Koichi blinked and sat motionless for a second, blind to the dead air and rapt attention of the crowd, his body eventually caught up with his mind and to everyone's surprise he stood up.

"H-hai- Gakuto-san?"

Gackt shook his head vaguely and got to his feet, somehow managing to get through the mess of legs and stools blocking his path to the front of the stage. Ryuichi pouted petulantly as he watched his fellow musician and lust object approach the open area.

"Well go on then Gakuto-san, woo your princess." Tsuyoshi taunted, snickering behind his palm.

Koichi lifted his gaze, hazel eyes fixed on Camui from under a tousled buttery blonde fringe. For a moment Gackt hesitated, drawn into the canvas of emotion in those eyes and then before his brain could protest he stepped forward, closing the gap between them in three short steps.

The sudden sweep of noise from the audience, wolf-whistles, cheering and Yukie's elated cries all died away and Camui reached out, his fingers sliding between the soft strands of Koichi's hair to draw him in for a searing kiss, that struck even Tsuyoshi dumb.

And to his shock, after a tentative moment Koichi began to respond, no match for his dominant, nearly possessive affections, but a different kind of kiss.....tender and longing....as if he'd been waiting....

When their lips finally parted the claustrophobic blanket of silence refused to be drawn back, each and every person was focused on Camui and Koichi.

Koichi's face stained with a bright blush and he averted his eyes, colouring even more as Camui stroked his cheek and broke away, returning to his seat as if nothing had happened. Tsuyoshi coughed awkwardly and motioned for the other stunned Domoto brother to sit down, not even noticing the stolen glance between Camui and the petite presenter.

Yukie, Mitsuko and Ryuichi were all holding tissues up to their noses and the scowl on the ex-Luna Sea vocalists face could have curdled milk.

"AAanyway, uh.....next week we'll be curry tasting with Kirito....oh lord not him...and Ahahaha!....more karaoke with our band. Ja ne for now!" Tsuyoshi smiled weakly and waved towards the camera. His expression cracking almost visibly.

The rest of the guests joined in the farewell and another round of applause rippled along with the ending theme song, but Camui and his "princess" only had eyes for each other.
